NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 28th January, 2015

S.O. 253(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National

Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the SDO Barmer as the

competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of

publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from Km. 123/410 to

Km. 144/500 of the National Highway No. 15 for building (Construction on new alignment “due to change

of alignment of NH-15 from Km. 123/410 to Km. 144/500 between Barmer- Jaisalmer section in view of

Mining area beneath NH-15 where Power Plant is planned in Barmer District”), maintenance, management

and operation in the State of Rajasthan as specified in the Schedule given below.

SCHEDULE

Acquisition of land in respect of National Highway No. 15 for the work change of alignment on Jaisalmer-

Barmer section in the view of mining area beneath NH-15 where power plant installation is planned in the

State of Rajasthan on the stretch from Km. 123/410 to Km. 144/500.
