CENTRAL ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th November, 2015

No. 2/2(2)/2011-Estt./CERC.—In exercise of powers conferred under Section 178 read with Section

91 of the Electricity Act, 2003, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission with the approval of the

Central Government hereby makes the following Regulations, to amend the Central Electricity Regulatory

Commission (Recruitment, Control and Service Conditions of Staff) Regulations, 2007 (hereinafter referred

to as “the Principal Regulations”), namely:

1. Short title and commencement:

(1) These Regulations may be called the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Recruitment, Control

and Service Conditions of Staff) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2015.

(2) These Regulations shall come into effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of Appendix-I to the Principal Regulations (Educational Qualification, Experience and

Qualifying Service for staff on deputation on Foreign Service terms/short-term contract)

(i) After S.No.12 of the Appendix-I, the following shall be inserted :
