सा.का.िन. 947(अ).—कᱶᮤीय सरकार, िसᲥा िनमाᭅण अिधिनयम, 2011 (2011 का 11) कᳱ धारा 24 कᳱ

उप-धारा (2) के खंड (घ) और (ड.) ᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए, िन᭥ निलिखत िनयम बनाती है,

अथाᭅतः—

1. संिᭃ᳙ नाम और ᮧार᭥भ :- (1) इन िनयमᲂ का संिᭃ᳙ नाम “महाराणा ᮧताप कᳱ 475वᱭ जयंती” के अवसर पर

᭭मरणो᭜सव मनाने के िलए एक सौ ᱧपये और दस ᱧपये के िसᲥᲂ का िनमाᭅण िनयम, 2015 है ।

(2) ये राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकाशन कᳱ तारीख को ᮧवृᱫ हᲂगे ।

2. िसᲥᲂ का अंᳰकत मू᭨य-- “महाराणा ᮧताप कᳱ 475वᱭ जयंती” के अवसर पर ᭭मरणो᭜सव मनाने के िलए के᭠ᮤीय

सरकार के ᮧािधकार के अधीन जारी करने के िलए टकसाल मᱶ िन᭥ निलिखत अंᳰकत मू᭨य के िसᲥᲂ का िनमाᭅण

ᳰकया जाएगा, अथाᭅत :—

i( ) एक सौ ᱧपये;

और ᳲसह शीषᭅ के नीचे ᱧपया का ᮧतीक “

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 8th December, 2015

G.S.R. 947(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of

the Coinage Act, 2011 (11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage of One Hundred Rupees and Ten

Rupees coins to commemorate the occasion of 475^TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF MAHARANA PRATAP

Rules, 2015.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Denomination of coins.-The coins of the following denominations shall also be coined at the Mint for issue

under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of “475^TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF

MAHARANA PRATAP”, namely:—

(i) One Hundred Rupees;

(ii) Ten Rupees.

3. Dimension and composition of coins.- The coins of the denominations mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to

the following dimensions and composition, namely:—

4. Design.—The design of the coin shall be as under:—

(i) ONE HUNDRED RUPEES

OBVERSE:

The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “स᭜यमेव जयते” inscribed

below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagari script and on the right periphery with the word

“INDIA” in English, and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “100” in international

numerals below the Lion Capitol.

REVERSE:

This face of the coin shall bear the portrait of “Maharana Pratap” in the centre, with inscription "महाराणा ᮧताप कᳱ 475वᱭ

जयंती" in Devanagari script on upper periphery and "475^TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF MAHARANA PRATAP" in

English on the lower periphery respectively. The year "2015" in international numerals shall be written below the

portrait of Maharana Pratap.

(ii) TEN RUPEES

OBVERSE:

The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “स᭜यमेव जयते” inscribed

below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagari script and on the right periphery with the word

“INDIA” in English, and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol “`” and denominational value “10” in international

numerals below the Lion Capitol.

REVERSE:

This face of the coin shall bear the portrait of “Maharana Pratap” in the centre, with inscription "महाराणा ᮧताप कᳱ 475वᱭ

5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.– Standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, coined to

commemorate the occasion of “475^TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF MAHARANA PRATAP” and the remedy

allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Table below:—
