का. आ. 3356(अ).—कᱶᮤीय सरकार, पशुधन आयात अिधिनयम, 1898(1898 का 9) कᳱ धारा 2 के

खंड(घ) और धारा 3क ᳇ारा ᮧद᭜ त शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए भारत के राजपᮢ, असाधारण भाग II, खंड 3,

उपखंड (ii) तारीख 16 अ᭍ तूबर, 2014 मᱶ का. आ. 2666 (अ), तारीख 17 अ᭍ तूबर, 2014, ᳇ारा ᮧकािशत भारत

सरकार के कृिष मंᮢालय, पशुपालन, डेयरी और म᭜ ᭭ यपालन िवभाग कᳱ अिधसूचना मᱶ िन᭥ निलिखत संशोधन

करती है, अथाᭅत्:-

उ᭍ त अिधसूचना कᳱ अनुसूची के पैरा 3, उप-पैरा (vi) के ᭭ थान पर िन᭥ निलिखत रखा जाएगा, अथाᭅत्:-

“(vi) ᭭ व᭒ छता आयात परिमट ᮧसं᭭ कृत पशुधन उ᭜ पादᲂ जैसे माि᭜᭭यकᳱ उ᭜ पाद, कु᭍ कुट, सूअर, भेड़ तथा

बकरी के मांस उ᭜ पाद, पालतू पशुᲐ के खा᳒, ᮧसं᭭ कृत सूअर के बाल तथा ᮧसं᭭ कृत पंखᲂ के आयात के हेतु एक वषᭅ

कᳱ अविध के िलए मा᭠ य होगा:

पर᭠ तु यह ᭭ व᭒ छता आयात परिमट ᮧसं᭭ कृत ताप अिभᳰᮓिमत दु᭏ ध तथा दु᭏ ध उ᭜ पादᲂ के आयात के िलए

तीन मास कᳱ अविध के िलए मा᭠ य होगा, ᳰक᭠ तु आयातकताᭅᲐ के, लेखब᳍ ᳰकए गए कारणᲂ से, अनुरोध पर तीन

मास कᳱ और अविध के िलए बढ़ाया जा सकेगा:

जा सकेगा।” ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 10th December, 2015

S.O. 3356(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of Section 2 and Section 3A of the

Livestock Importation Act, 1898 (9 of 1898), the Central Government hereby makes the following

amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal

Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, dated the 16^th October, 2014, published in the Gazette of India,

Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3 , Sub-section(ii), vide S.O. 2666(E), dated the 17^th October, 2014, namely:

In the said notification, in the Schedule, in paragraph 3, for sub-paragraph (vi), the following shall be

substituted, namely:-

“(vi) The Sanitary Import Permit shall be valid for a period of one year for import of processed

livestock products, such as fishery products, meat products of poultry, pig, sheep and goat, pet food,

processed pig bristles and processed feather:

Provided further that the Sanitary Import Permit shall be valid for a period of three months for import

of processed heat treated milk and milk products, but may be extended for a further period of three months,

on request from the importer for reasons to be recorded in writing:

Provided also that the Sanitary Import Permit shall be valid for a period of six months for unprocessed

livestock products but may be extended for a further period of six months, on request from the importer and

for reasons to be recorded in writing’’.
