987(अ).—िव त अिधिनयम, 1994 (1994 का 32) क धारा 94 क उपधारा (2) के साथ पठत
उपधारा (1) के तहत द त शिय का योग करते ए, क सरकार एत ारा सेवा कर िनयमवाली 1994, म और आगे
संशोधन करने के िलए िन& निलिखत िनयम बनाती ह*, यथा-
1. (1) इन िनयम को सेवा कर (चतुथ. संशोधन) िनयमावली, 2015 कहा जाएगा ।
(2) ये सरकारी राजप/ म अपने काशन क तारीख से लागू हगे ।
2. सेवाकर िनयमावली, 1994, के िनयम 6 म , उपिनयम (1) म , चौथे परंतुक म , ‘’तिमलनाडु रा4 य’’ श5 द के
6 थान पर ‘’तिमलनाडु रा4 य और पुडुचेरी संघ रा4 य 8े/ (माही और यनम को छोडकर)’’ श5 द को अत: 6 थािपत 9कया
जाएगा ।

के दवारा संशोधन 9कया गया है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th December, 2015
No. 27/2015- Service Tax
G.S.R. 987(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with sub-
section (2) of section 94 of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994), the Central Government hereby
makes the following rules further to amend the Service Tax Rules, 1994, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Service Tax (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
In the Service Tax Rules, 1994, in rule 6, in sub-rule (1), in the fourth proviso, for the words
“State of Tamil Nadu”, the words “State of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry
(except Mahe & Yanam)” shall be substituted.

Note.- The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (i) vide notification No. 2/94- Service Tax, dated the 28th June, 1994 vide
number G.S.R. 546 (E), dated the 28th June, 1994 and last amended vide notification
No. 26/2015-Service Tax, dated the 9th December, 2015 vide number G.S.R. 948 (E), dated
the 9th December, 2015.
