सा.का.िन. 77(अ)—के᭠ ᮤीय सरकार, के᭠ ᮤीय उ᭜ पाद-शु᭨ क अिधिनयम, 1944 (1944 का 1) कᳱ धारा 5क कᳱ उप-
धारा (1) ᳇ारा ᮧद᭜ त शि तयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए, यह समाधान हो जाने पर ᳰक लोकिहत मᱶ ऐसा करना आव᭫ यक है, भारत
सरकार के िव᭜ त मंᮢालय (राज᭭ व िवभाग) कᳱ अिधसूचना सं. 12/2012-के᭠ ᮤीय उ᭜ पाद-शु᭨ क, तारीख 17 माचᭅ, 2012 मᱶ,
जो भारत के राजपᮢ, असाधारण, भाग-II, खंड-3, उपखंड (i) मᱶ सा.का.िन. 163(अ) तारीख 17 माचᭅ, 2012 ᳇ारा
ᮧकािशत कᳱ गई थी, िन᭥ निलिखत और संशोधन करती है, अथाᭅत्-
उ त अिधसूचना मᱶ, सारणी मᱶ,-
(i) ᮓम सं या 70 मᱶ,-
(क) ᭭ तंभ (3) कᳱ मद (i) के सामने ᭭ तंभ (4) मᱶ कᳱ ᮧिवि᭬ ट के ᭭ थान पर, “8.48 ᱧपये ᮧित िलटर” ᮧिवि᭬ ट
ᮧित᭭ थािपत कᳱ जायᱶगी;
(ख) ᭭ तंभ (3) कᳱ मद (ii) के सामने ᭭ तंभ (4) मᱶ कᳱ ᮧिवि᭬ ट के ᭭ थान पर, “9.66 ᱧपये ᮧित िलटर” ᮧिवि᭬ ट
ᮧित᭭ थािपत कᳱ जायᱶगी;
(ii) ᮓम सं या 71 मᱶ,-
(क) ᭭ तंभ (3) कᳱ मद (i) के सामने ᭭ तंभ (4) मᱶ कᳱ ᮧिवि᭬ ट के ᭭ थान पर, “9.83 ᱧपये ᮧित िलटर” ᮧिवि᭬ ट
ᮧित᭭ थािपत कᳱ जायᱶगी;

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th January, 2016
No. 2/2016-Central Excise
G.S.R. 77(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central
Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest
so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the
Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.12/2012-Central Excise, dated the 17th March, 2012,
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R. 163(E), dated the
17th March, 2012, namely: -
In the said notification, in the Table,-
(i) in serial number 70,-
(a) against item (i) of column (3), for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 8.48 per litre” shall be
substituted;
(b) against item (ii) of column (3), for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 9.66 per litre” shall be
substituted;
(ii) in serial number 71,-
(a) against item (i) of column (3), for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 9.83 per litre” shall be
substituted;
(b) against item (ii) of column (3), for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 12.19 per litre” shall be
substituted;

This notification shall come into force with effect from the 16th day of January, 2016.

Note.- The principal notification No. 12/2012-Central Excise, dated the 17th March, 2012 was published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 163(E) dated the
17th March, 2012 and was last amended vide notification No.1/2016-Central Excise, dated the
1st January, 2016 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide
number G.S.R. 1(E) dated the 1st January, 2016.
