योग करते Hए उ- त अनुसूची म वIणत भूिम से कोयले का पूवJ$ण करने के अपने आशय क& सूचना देती है ;

उ- त अनुसूची म व!णत भूिम म िहतब कोई K यि- त -

उ- त अिधिनयम क& धारा 4 क& उप-धारा (3) के अधीन क& गयी कसी काय/वाही से Hई या होने वाली

संभाK य कसी $ित के िलए अिधिनयम क& धारा 6 के अधीन ितकर का दावा कर सकेगा ; अथवा

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 19th January, 2016

S.O. 177(E).—Whereas, it appears to the Central Government that Coal is likely to be obtained from

the land in the locality described in the Schedule annexed hereto;

And, whereas, the plan bearing number NTPC/CM/NCB/BN/15/01, dated the 6^th October, 2015

containing the details of the areas of land described in the said Schedule may be inspected at the office of the

Chief General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute, Gondwana

Palace, Kanke Road, Ranchi-834001 or at the office of the Coal Controller, 1, Council House Street, Kolkata-

700001 or at the Office of the Collector, District Raigarh, Chhattisgarh or at the Office of the General

Manager, Talaipalli Coal Mining Project, NTPC Limited, Lailunga Road, Ghargoda, District Raigarh-

496111,Chhattisgarh or at the office of the General Manager (Coal Mining), Coal Mining Division, NTPC

Bhawan, Core-7, SCOPE Complex, 7, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal

Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said

Act), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal from land described in

the said Schedule;

Any persons interested in the land described in the said Schedules may—

(i) claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any

action taken under sub-section(3) of section 4 thereof; or

(ii) claim compensation under sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act in respect of prospecting licenses

ceasing to have effect or under sub-section (4) of section 13 of the Act for mining lease ceasing to have

effect and deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the land to show the expenditure

incurred in respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of subsection (1) of section 13 of the said Act;

to the office of the General Manager, Talaipalli Coal Mining Project , NTPC Limited, Lailunga Road,

Ghargoda, District Raigarh-496111, Chhattisgarh or at the Office of the General Manager (Coal Mining),

Coal Mining Division, NTPC Bhawan, Core-7, SCOPE Complex, 7, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New

Delhi-110003, within a period of ninety days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official

Gazette.
