का.आ.189(अ).-- के᭠ᮤीय सरकार, पयाᭅवरण (संरᭃण) िनयम, 1986 के िनयम 5 के उप-िनयम (4) के साथ पᳯठत पयाᭅवरण

(संरᭃण) अिधिनयम, 1986 (1986 का 20) कᳱ धारा 6, 8 और 25 ᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए पᳯरसंकटमय अपिश᳥

(ᮧबंधन, हथालन और सीमा पार संचलन) िनयम, 2008 का और संशोधन करने के िलए िन᳜िलिखत िनयम बनाती है, अथाᭅत्:-

1.

(1) संिᭃ᳙ नाम और ᮧारंभ,- इन िनयमᲂ का संिᭃ᳙ नाम पᳯरसंकटमय अपिश᳥ (ᮧबंधन, हथालन और सीमा पार संचलन) संशोधन

िनयम, 2016 है ।

(2) ये राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकाशन कᳱ तारीख को ᮧवृᱫ हᲂगे ।

2. पᳯरसंकटमय अपिश᳥ (ᮧबंधन, हथालन और सीमा पार संचलन) िनयम, 2008 कᳱ, अनुसूची 3, के भाग ख के, बेसल स. ख1 मᱶ िवधुत

और इलै᭍ᮝािनक एसै᭥बलीज से संबंिधत सं᭎यांक ख 1110 के सामने, ᮧिवि᳥ “वैधुत और इलै᭍ᮝािनक संमजक (मुᳰᮤत सᳰᮓट बोडᭅ,

इलै᭍ᮝािनक पुजᱷ और तार सिहत) सीधे पुनः उपभोग के िलए ᳴कतु पुनः चᮓण अथवा अंितम िनपटान के िलए नहᱭ हᱹ ।” के ᭭थान पर

िन᳜िलिखत ᮧिवि᳥ रखी जाएगी, अथाᭅत्:-

“वैधुत और इलै᭍ᮝािनक संमजक (मुᳰᮤत सᳰᮓट बोडᭅ, इलै᭍ᮝािनक पुजᱷ और तार सिहत) सीधे पुनः उपयोग के िलए ᳴कतु पुनः चᮓण अथवा

अंितम िनपटान के िलए नहᱭ हᱹ लेᳰकन िन᳜िलिखत को अपवᳶजत करते ᱟए :

(i) ᳞ि᳧ ᳇ारा ᳞िᲦगत उपयोग के िलए आयात कᳱ गई, उपयोग मᱶ ली ᱟई वैधुत और इलै᭍ᮝािनक संमजक, यᳰद ऐसी

᳞िᲦगत उपयोग के िलए आयाितत माᮢा तीन उ᭜पादᲂ से अिधक नहᱭ हो ।

(ii) वैधुत और इलै᭍ᮝािनक संमजक िज᭠हे मर᭥मत के िलए िवदेश मᱶ िनयाᭅत ᳰकया गया है और मर᭥मत के प᳟ात् आयात ᳰकया

गया है ।”

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th Janaury, 2016

S.O. 189(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6, 8 and 25 of the Environment (Protection)

Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), read with sub-rule (4) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, the Central

Government hereby makes the following rules, further to amend the Hazardous Wastes (Management, Handling

and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2008, namely:—

1.

(1) short title and commencement .— These rules may be called the Hazardous Wastes (Management,

Handling and Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2016.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling and Transboudary Movement) Rules, 2008, in Schedule III, in

Part B, in Basel No. B1, against number B1110 relating to Electrical and electronic assemblies, for the entry

“Electrical and electronic assemblies (including printed circuit boards, electronic components and wires)

destined for direct reuse and not for recycling or final disposal.”, the following entry shall be substituted,

namely:—

“Electrical and electronic assemblies (including printed circuit boards, electronic components and wires)

destined for direct reuse and not for recycling or final disposal but excluding:

(i)

used electrical and electronic assemblies imported by individual for personal use, if the quantity so

imported for personal use does not exceed three products; and

(ii)

used electrical and electronic assemblies exported for repair abroad and re-imported after repair.”
