NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 13th July, 2015

S.O. 194(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 1579

dated the 30th May, 2014, issued under sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and

Development) Act. 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and published in the Gazette of India, Part

II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 31st May, 2014, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire

734.917 hectares (approximately) or 1816.02 acres (approximately) land as all rights in or over such lands specified in

the Schedule appended to that notification.

And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of Section 8 of the said Act has made his report to the Central

Government;

And whereas, the Central Government after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting the Government

of Madhya Pradesh, is satisfied that the lands measuring 734.917 hectares (approximately) or 1816.02 acres

(approximately) as all rights in or over such lands as described in Schedule appended hereto, should be acquired;

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the said Act, the Central

Government hereby declares that the land measuring 734.917 hectares (approximately) or 1816.02 acres (approximately)

as all rights in or over such lands as described in Schedule are hereby acquired.

The plan bearing number SECL/BSP/CGM(PLG)/LAND/ 470, dated the 17th February, 2015 of the area covered

by this notification may be inspected at the Office of the Collector, District Anuppur and Shahdol (Madhya Pradesh) or
