का.आ. 267(अ).—कᱶᮤीय सरकार, पयाᭅवरण (संरᭃण) अिधिनयम, 1986 (1986 का 29) कᳱ धारा 3 कᳱ
उप-धारा (3) ᳇ारा ᮧद᭜ त शि तयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए और भारत सरकार के त᭜ कालीन पयाᭅवरण और वन मंᮢालय कᳱ
अिधसूचना सं यांक का.आ. 1533(अ), तारीख 14 िसतंबर, 2006 के पैरा 3 के अनुसरण मᱶ, भारत सरकार के त᭜ कालीन
पयाᭅवरण और वन मंᮢालय कᳱ, भारत के राजपᮢ, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड (ii) मᱶ सं यांक का.आ. 3062(अ), तारीख
2 ᳰदस᭥ बर, 2014 ᳇ारा ᮧकािशत अिधसूचना मᱶ िन᭥ निलिखत संशोधन करती है, अथाᭅत् :—
2. उ त अिधसूचना मᱶ,—
(i) आरंिभक पैरा मᱶ, ᮓम सं. 1 और उससे संबंिधत ᮧिवि᭬ टयᲂ के ᭭ थान पर िन᭥ निलिखत ᮓम सं. और ᮧिवि᭬ टयां
रखी जाएंगी, अथाᭅत् :—
(ii) पैरा 2 के प᭫ चात् िन᭥ निलिखत परंतुक अंत:᭭ थािपत ᳰकया जाएगा, अथाᭅत् :—
‘‘परंतु यᳰद अ᭟ यᭃ या सद᭭ य के पद मᱶ कोई ᳯरि त होती है तो कᱶᮤीय सरकार उ᭜ तरवतᱮ कᳱ िनयुि त करेगी, जो
ऐसे अ᭟ यᭃ या सद᭭ य कᳱ शेष पदाविध के िलए पद धारण करेगा, िजसके ᭭ थान पर उसे इस ᮧकार िनयु त
ᳰकया गया था ।’’;
(iii) पैरा 7 के प᭫ चात् िन᭥ निलिखत परंतुक अंत:᭭ थािपत ᳰकया जाएगा, अथाᭅत् :—
‘‘1. ᮰ी एस.एस.परमार, आईएएस (सेवािनवृ᭜ त), एचआईजी काटेज नं. 2, हाउᳲसग
बोडᭅ कालोनी, जाखू, िशमला, िहमाचल ᮧदेश
‘‘अ᭟ यᭃ’’;

‘‘परंतु यᳰद अ᭟ यᭃ या सद᭭ य के पद मᱶ कोई ᳯरि त होती है तो कᱶᮤीय सरकार संबंिधत रा᭔ य सरकार कᳱ िसफाᳯरश
पर उ᭜ तरवतᱮ कᳱ िनयुि त करेगी, जो ऐसे अ᭟ यᭃ या सद᭭ य कᳱ शेष पदाविध के िलए पद धारण करेगा, िजसके
᭭ थान पर उसे इस ᮧकार िनयु त ᳰकया गया था ।’’।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th January, 2016
S.O. 267(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment
(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of paragraph 3 of the notification of the Government of
India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O 1533(E), dated the 14th September,
2006, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government
of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests published in the Gazette of India, Part II,
Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number S.O. 3062(E), dated the 2nd December, 2014, namely:—

In the said notification,—
(i) in the opening paragraph, for serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial
number and entries shall be substituted, namely :—
“1. Shri SS Parmar, IAS (Retd.)
HIG Cottage No. 2, Housing Board Colony,
Jakhoo, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
“Chairman”;
(ii) after paragraph 2, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:—
“Provided that if a vacancy occurs in the Office of the Chairman or the Member, the Central
Government shall appoint a successor who shall hold office for the remainder of the term of
such Chairman or Member in whose place he was so appointed.”
(iii) after paragraph 7, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:—
“Provided that if a vacancy occurs in the office of the Chairman or any Member, the Central
Government shall, on the recommendation of the State Government Concerned, appoint a
successor who shall hold office for the remainder of the term of such Chairman or Member in
whose place he was so appointed.”
