NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th January, 2016

S.O. 295(E).—In the pursuance of the Judgement of Supreme Court of India dated

13.10.2011 in Civil Appeal No. 8629 of 2011 [arising out of SLP(C) No. 17022 of 2008] with Civil

Appeal No. 8630 of 2011 [arising out of SLP(C) No. 17021 of 2008] and Civil Appeal No. 8631 of

2011 [arising out of SLP(C) No. 29771 of 2009], Shri H.R. Kalaiya, G.A.S. is hereby authorized to

perform the functions of the Competent Authority under clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and

Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 for proceedings related to

“determination of compensation” in respect of “Right of Use” acquired in lands belonging to the

Applicants to the above mentioned Civil appeals, for East West Pipeline Project by M/s. Reliance

Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited (RGTIL), having its Registered Office at 101, Shivam

Apartments, 9 Patel Colony, Bedi Bunder Road, Jamnagar-361008 (Gujarat).

This Notification issues in supersession of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas Notification-

S.O. 895(E) dated 18th April, 2012.
