िव᳒ुत ᮧािधकरण के िन᳜िलिखत अिधकाᳯरयᲂ को इस अिधसूचना कᳱ तारीख से सीईए मᱶ उनके कायᭅकाल तक, उपयुᭅᲦ

िनयम मᱶ उि᭨लिखत अहᭅता और शतᭅ को पूरा करने के अ᭟यधीन, उनके संबंिधत आरआईओ एवं सीईआई मᱶ वै᳒ुत िनरीᭃक

ᳯट᭡पणीः सीईआई-मु᭎य वै᳒ुत िनरीᭃणालय, आरआईओ-ᭃेᮢीय िनरीᭃणालय संगठन

उपयुᭅᲦ उि᭨लिखत अिधकारी समय-समय पर यथासंशोिधत कᱶᮤीय िव᳒ुत ᮧािधकरण (सुरᭃा और िव᳒ुत आपूᳶत से

संबंिधत उपाय) िविनयम, 2010 मᱶ दी गई ᮧᳰᮓया के अनुसार, सीईए के अिधकार वाले ᭃेᮢᲂ मᱶ ᮧचालनाधीन वै᳒ुत कायᲄ,

वै᳒ुत सं᭭थापनाᲐ तथा वै᳒ुत रोᳲलग ᭭टॉक के संबंध मᱶ अिधकारᲂ का ᮧयोग करᱶगे और अपना कायᭅ िन᭬पाᳰदत करᱶगे।

सीईए यह सुिनि᳟त करेगा ᳰक उपरोᲦ अिधकारी उ᭠हᱶ, अपने संबंिधत ᭃेᮢ मᱶ वै᳒ुत िनरीᭃक के ᱨप मᱶ ᳰदये गये

कायᲄ के संबंध मᱶ वह वै᳒ुत िनरीᭃक नहᱭ हᲂगे।

वै᳒ुत िनरीᭃक के ᱨप मᱶ िनयुᲦ अिधकारी वह ᮧिशᭃण लᱶगे िजसे कᱶᮤ सरकार इस उ᳎े᭫य के िलए आव᭫यक समझे

तथा ऐसा ᮧिशᭃण सरकार कᳱ संतुि᳥ के ᭭तर तक पूरा ᳰकया जाएगा।

New Delhi, the 30th November, 2016

S.O. 3680(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 162 of the Electricity Act, 2003

(36 of 2003) read with Qualification, Power and Function of Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors Rules,

2006 notified on 17.8.2006 and as amended on 16.05.2016, the Central Government hereby appoints the following

officers of Central Electricity Authority as Electrical Inspector for CEA, in their respective RIOs and CEI, from the date

of this Notification till their tenure in CEA, subject to fulfilment of the qualification and condition mentioned in the

above Rule:

Note: CEI-Chief Electrical Inspectorate, RIO-Regional Inspectorial Organization

The above mentioned officer shall exercise the powers and perform his functions in respect of electrical works,

electrical installations and electrical rolling stock in operation within the jurisdiction of CEA, as per the procedure

provided in Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electricity Supply) Regulations, 2010, as

amended from time to time.

CEA will ensure that above said officers will not be the Electrical Inspectors in respect of the work assigned to

them in their respective area.

The officers appointed as Electrical Inspector shall undergo such training as the Central Government may

consider necessary for the purpose and such training shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Government.
