NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 9th December, 2016

S.O. 3998(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3,4,5 and 6 read with Section 15(1) of the Haj

Committee Act, 2002(35 of 2002), The Central Government, hereby appoints Shri Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Member of

Parliament, Lok Sabha in place of Mr Tariq Hameed Karra, formerly Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, as a member of

Haj Committee of India under sub section(i) of Section 4 of the said Act, for a period upto 8^th June 2019 with effect from

the date of publication of the notification in the Official Gazette, and for that purpose makes the following amendments

in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of External Affairs number S.O. 2024(E), dated 9^th June

2016, namely:—

In the said notification, for serial number (3) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and

entry shall be substituted, namely:—

S.O.2105(E) dated 14^th June 2016, S.O.2148(E) dated 17^th June 2016, S.O. 2219(E) dated 27^th June 2016 and S.O.

2283(E) dated 01^st July 2016 were issued.
