का. आ. 4050(अ).- जबᳰक, के᭠ ᮤीय सरकार ने, रा᭬ ᮝीय अ᭠ वेषण अिभकरण अिधिनयम, 2008 (2008 का
34) (िजसे इसके बाद उ त अिधिनयम के ᱨप मᱶ संदᳶभत ᳰकया गया है) कᳱ धारा 11 कᳱ उप-धारा (1) के अंतगᭅत
ᮧद᭜ त शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए, ᳰदनांक 01 िसत᭥ बर, 2010 के भारत के राजपᮢ, असाधारण, भाग-II,
ख᭛ ड-3, उप-ख᭛ ड (ii) मᱶ ᮧकािशत ᳰदनांक 01 िसत᭥ बर, 2010 कᳱ अिधसूचना सं या का. आ. 2162 (अ) के तहत
उ त अिधिनयम कᳱ धारा 11 के उप-ख᭛ ड (i) के ᮧयोजन हेतु ᮧधान िजला एवं सᮢ ᭠ यायालय, पुडुचेरी को िवशेष
᭠ यायालय के बतौर अिधसूिचत ᳰकया था, िजसका अिधसूिचत अपराधᲂ के िवचारण के िलए कायᭅᭃेᮢ पूरा पुडुचेरी
संघ रा᭔ य ᭃेᮢ होगा;
और जबᳰक, थीᱨ सी.वी. काᳶथकेयन, मु य ᭠ यायाधीश, पुडुचेरी, िज᭠ हᱶ ᳰदनांक 24 जुलाई, 2015 के
भारत के राजपᮢ, असाधारण, भाग-II ख᭛ ड-3, उप-ख᭛ ड (ii) मᱶ ᮧकािशत ᳰदनांक 23 जुलाई, 2015 कᳱ
अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 2030 (अ) के तहत उ त िवशेष ᭠ यायालय का ᭠ यायाधीश िनयु त ᳰकया गया था, का
उ᭠ नयन माननीय उ᭒ च ᭠ यायालय, मᮤास के बतौर ᳰकया गया है;

अत: अब, के᭠ ᮤीय सरकार, उ त अिधिनयम कᳱ धारा-11 कᳱ उप-धारा (3) के अंतगᭅत ᮧद᭜ त शिᲦयᲂ का
ᮧयोग करते ᱟए तथा 23 जुलाई, 2015 कᳱ अिधसूचना सं या का. आ. 2030 (अ) का अिधᮓमण करते ᱟए,
िसवाय उन कायᲄ के िज᭠ हᱶ ऐसे अिधᮓमण के पूवᭅ स᭥ पाᳰदत कर िलया गया था अथवा करने से लोप कर ᳰदया गया
था, माननीय मु य ᭠ यायाधीश उ᭒ च ᭠ यायालय, मᮤास कᳱ िसफाᳯरश पर ᮰ी टीएमटी. एस. रामािथलगम, िजला
᭠ यायाधीश को, एतद्᳇ारा, िवशेष ᭠ यायालय कᳱ अ᭟ यᭃता हेतु ᭠ यायाधीश िनयु त करते हᱹ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th December, 2016
S. O. 4050(E).— Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11
of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act),
the Central Government had, vide notification number S.O. 2162(E) dated the 1st September, 2010,
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 1st
September, 2010, notified the Principal District and Sessions Court, Puducherry as the Special Court
for the purposes of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the said Act having jurisdiction throughout the
Union Territory of Puducherry for the trial of Scheduled Offences;
And whereas, Thiru C.V. Karthikeyan, Chief Judge, Puducherry, who was appointed as the
Judge to preside over the said Special Court vide notification number S.O. 2030 (E) dated the 23rd
July, 2015, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated
the 24th July, 2015, has been elevated as Hon’ble Judge of High Court, Madras;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (3) of Section 11 of the
said Act and in supersession of the notification number S.O. 2030(E) dated the 23rd July, 2015,
except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central
Government, on the recommendation of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court, Madras, hereby
appoints Tmt. S. Ramathilagam, District Judge as the Judge to preside over the said Special Court.
