करते ᱟए, के᭠ᮤीय सरकार, एत᳏ारा, ᮰ी वी. के. शमाᭅ, ᮧबंध िनदेशक (एमडी), भारतीय जीवन बीमा िनगम (एलआईसी) को उनकᳱ

िनयुिᲦ कᳱ अिधसूचना कᳱ तारीख से पांच वषᭅ कᳱ अविध के िलए अथवा उनकᳱ अिधवᳶषता कᳱ तारीख तक अथवा अगले आदेशᲂ

तक, जो भी पहले हो, भारतीय जीवन बीमा िनगम (एलआईसी) का अ᭟यᭃ िनयुᲦ करती है।

New Delhi, the 16th December, 2016

S.O. 4056(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Life Insurance Corporation Act, 1956

(31 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri V.K. Sharma, Managing Director (MD), Life Insurance

Corporation of India (LIC), as Chairman, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for a period of five years from the

date of notification of his appointment, or upto the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the

earliest.
