सा.का.िन. 1160(अ).—रा᳦पित, संिवधान के अनु᭒छेद 309 के परंतुक ᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का

ᮧयोग करते ᱟए के᭠ᮤीय सिचवालय सेवा िनयम, 2009 का संशोधन करने के िलए िन᳜िलिखत िनयम

बनाते हᱹ नामत:-

1. संिᭃ᳙ नाम एवं ᮧार᭥भ–(1) इन िनयमᲂ का संिᭃ᳙ नाम के᭠ᮤीय सिचवालय सेवा (संशोधन) िनयम,

2016 है।

(2) ये राजपᮢ मᱶ उनके ᮧकाशन कᳱ तारीख का ᮧवत हᲂगे ।

2. के᭠ᮤीय सिचवालय सेवा िनयम, 2009 मᱶ, िनयम 17 के िलए िन᳜िलिखत को बदला जाएगा, नामत:-

“17. “वेतन: सेवा के िलए िविभ᳖ ᮰ेिणयᲂ से संबि᭠धत वेतन मैᳯᮝ᭍स मᱶ ᭭तर िन᳜िलिखत हᲂगे, अथाᭅत:-

(i) ᭔ये᳧ चयन ᮕेड : ᭭तर 13 - 118500-214100 #पए

(ii) चयन ᮕेड : ᭭तर 12 - 78800-209200 #पए

(iii) ᮕेड I : ᭭तर 11 - 67700-208700 #पए

(iv) अनुभाग अिधकारी ᮕेड : ᭭तर 8 – 47600-151100 #पए

ᳯट᭡ पणी: अनुभाग अिधकाᳯरयᲂ को, उस ᮰ेणी मᱶ 4 वषᭅ कᳱ अनुमोᳰदत सेवा पूरी करने पर गैर-कायाᭅ᭜मक

वेतन मैᳯᮝ᭍स के ᭭तर-10 - 56100-177500 ᱨपए देय है । िजन अनुभाग अिधकाᳯरयᲂ को, यह गैर-

कायाᭅ᭜मक वेतनमान ᳰदया जाता है, वे समूह ‘ख” (राजपिᮢत) मᱶ ही बने रहᱶगे और ᮕेड –I (अवर सिचव )

सेवा मᱶ ᮧो᳖ित के िलए उनकᳱ पाᮢता कᳱ गणना, अनुभाग अिधकारी के दोनᲂ वेतनमानᲂ मᱶ ᳞तीत कुल

अविध िमलाकर कᳱ जाएगी ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th December, 2016

G.S.R. 1160(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the provisio to article 309 of the Constitution, the

President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Secretariat Service Rules, 2009 namely :-

1. Short title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Central Secretariat Service (Amendment) Rules,

2016.

(2)

They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Central Secretariat Service Rules, 2009, for the rule 17, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“17. Pay.- The Level in the pay matrix attached to the various grades of the Service shall be as follows:-

(i) Senior Selection Grade : Level 13 –Rs. 118500-214100;

(ii) Selection Grade : Level 12- Rs. 78800-209200;

(iii) Grade I : Level 11- Rs. 67700-208700;

(iv) Section Officers’ Grade : Level 8 – Rs. 47600-151100;

Note: The non-functional pay matrix of Level 10- Rs. 56100-177500 is admissible to the Section Officer of the

Service on completion of 4 years of approved service in that grade. The Section Officers, who are granted this non-

functional pay scale will continue to remain in Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) and their eligibility for promotion to Grade I

(Under Secretary) of the Service will be reckoned on the basis of total period, spent in both the scales of Section

Officer, counted together.

(v) Assistant Section Officer Grade: Level 7 – Rs. 44900-142400”.
