NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 21st December, 2016

S.O. 4116(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number

S.O. 2318(E), dated the 4^th July, 2016, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Area

(Acquisition and Development ) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and published

in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 6^th July, 2016, the Central

Government gave notice of its intention to acquire 64.43 hectares (approximately) or 159.20 acres

(approximately) lands and all rights in or over such lands specified in the Schedule annexed to that

notification;

And, whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act has made his report to

the Central Government;

And, whereas, the Central Government, after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the

Government of Jharkhand, is satisfied that the lands measuring 64.43 hectares (approximately) or 159.20

acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such lands as described in the Schedule appended hereto,

should be acquired;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the

Central Government hereby declares that the lands measuring 64.43 hectares (approximately) or 159.20 acres

(approximately) and all rights in or over such lands as described in the Schedule are hereby acquired.

The plan bearing number PBCMP/CBA/PH-VI/SEC-9/16/01, dated the 19^th September,

2016 of the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the office of the Deputy
