का.आ. 4143(अ).—भारत सरकार को लो किहत म यह आव यक तीत होता है क िबहार रा य म जगदीशपुर-हिदया पाईप

लाईन (जे एच पी एल) ए" ड $पर पाईप लाईन %ारा ाकृितक गैस के प(रवहन के िलए गेल (इि"डया) िलिमटेड %ारा, एक पाइपलाईन

िबछाई जानी चािहए;

और भारत सरकार को उ. त पाइपलाईन िबछाने के योजन के िलए यह आव यक तीत होता है क उस भूिम म, िजसम उ. त

पाइपलाईन िबछाए जाने का $ ताव है और जो इस अिधसूचना से संल5 न अनुसूची म व6णत है, उपयोग के अिधकार का अज8न कया जाए;

अत: अब, भारत सरकार, पे9ोिलयम और खिनज पाइपलाईन (भूिम म उपयोग के अिधकर का अज8न) अिधिनयम, 1962 (1962

का 50) क; धारा 3 क; उपधारा (1) %ारा द= त शि>य? का योग करते @ए, उस भूिम म उपयोग के अिधकार का अज8न करने के अपने

आशय क; घोषणा करती है;

कोई C यि>, जो उ. त अनुसूची म व6णत भूिम म िहतबD है, उस तारीख से िजसको उ. त अिधिनयम क; धारा 3 क; उपधारा

(1) के अधीन भारत के राजपE म यथा कािशत इस अिधसूचना क; ितयG साधारण जनता को उपलH ध कर दी जाती है, इ. क;स दन के

भी तर, भूिम के नीचे पाइपलाईन िबछाए जाने के संबंध म, सIम ािधकारी, गेल (इि"डया) िलिमटेड को िलिखत Jप म आIेप भेज

सकेगा।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 16th December, 2016

S.O. 4143(E).—Whereas it appears to Government of India that it is necessary in public interest that

for transportation of natural gas through Jagdishpur-Haldia pipeline (JHPL) & spur pipeline, in the State of

Bihar, a pipeline should be laid by GAIL (India) Limited;

And, whereas it appears to Government of India that for the purpose of laying the said pipeline, it is

necessary to acquire the Right of User in the land under which the said pipeline is proposed to be laid and

which is described in the Schedule annexed to this notification;

Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Petroleum and

Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962, (50 of 1962) Government of India

hereby declares its intention to acquire the Right of User therein;

Any person interested in the land described in the said Schedule may, within twenty one days from

the date of which the copies of the notification issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the said Act, as

published in the Gazette of India are made available to the general public, object in writing to the laying of the

pipeline under the land to Competent Authority, GAIL (India) Limited.
