का.आ. 4158(अ).—पटसन एवं पटसन व᭭ ᮢ िनयंᮢण आदेश, 2016 के खंड 4(2) के अनुसरण मᱶ और ᳰदनांक 04.07.2002

को भारत के राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकािशत अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 698(अ) के अिधᮓमण मᱶ पटसन आयु᭍ त एतद् ᳇ारा पटसन एवं पटसन व᭭ ᮢᲂ के

सभी िविनमाᭅताᲐ, आयातकᲂ, ᮧोसेससᭅ, ᭪ यापाᳯरयᲂ को िनदेश देते हᱹ ᳰक वे नीचे दी गई तािलका के कालम (2) मᱶ उि᭨ लिखत पटसन एवं

पटसन व᭭ ᮢᲂ कᳱ मदᲂ पर कालम (3) मᱶ िविन᳸द᭬ ट तदनुᱨपी श᭣ दᲂ को माकᭅ करᱶ/मुᳰᮤत करᱶ/ᮩांड करᱶ :-

(क) ‘‘मूल देश मᱶ बना’’

(ख) (i) क᭒ ची पटसन: ‘‘खा᳒ा᭠ नᲂ और चीनी कᳱ पै᳴कग के िलए पटसन

उ᭜ पादᲂ के िविनमाᭅण के िलए ᮧयोग नहᱭ ᳰकया जाना है’’

(ii) पटसन उ᭜ पाद: ‘‘खा᳒ा᭠ नᲂ और चीनी कᳱ पै᳴कग के िलए ᮧयोग

नहᱭ ᳰकया जाना है।‘’

(ग) आयातक का नाम और पता

आयाितत पटसन यानᭅ

(क) ‘‘मूल देश मᱶ बना’’

(ख) ᭭ पूल और कवर के बाहर आयातक का नाम और पता

पटसन आयु᭍ त, पटसन एवं पटसन व᭭ ᮢᲂ के सभी आयातकᲂ को यह भी िनदेश देते हᱹ ᳰक वे िन᭥ निलिखत िनयमᲂ को पालन करᱶ :-

(क) मुᮤण अिमट ᭭ याही से ᳰकया जाएगा और पूरी मा᳼कग/ᳲᮧᳳटग/ᮩांᳲडग कम से कम 250 × 200 िमिम. आकार मᱶ होगी।

(ख) ᮧ᭜ येक आयाितत पटसन बैग और पटसन ᭍ लॉथ मᱶ ᳰकनारे से लगभग 15 से.मी. कᳱ दूरी पर लाल धागे से लगातार चार बार

वाᳺपग और ᳰकनारे से 30 से.मी. कᳱ दूरी पर हरे धागे से लगातार चार बार वाᳺपग होनी चािहए।

उ᭍ त आदेश शासकᳱय राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकाशन कᳱ तारीख से ᮧभावी होगा और अगले आदेश तक वैध रहेगा।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 22nd December, 2016

S.O. 4158(E).—Pursuant to Clause 4 (2) of the Jute and Jute Textiles Control Order, 2016 and in supersession

of Notification No. S.O. 698 (E) dated 04-07-2002 published in the Gazette of India, the Jute Commissioner hereby

directs all the manufacturers, importers, processors, traders of jute and jute textiles to mark / print / brand the items of

jute and jute textiles mentioned in Column (2) of the table below with the corresponding words specified in the Column (3):-

on the pack sheet of the bale.

Every imported jute bag

(a) “Bag made in – Country of Origin”

(b) “Not to be used for packing foodgrains and sugar” on

the body of the bag.

4.

Imported jute cloth (in cut or roll form)

(a) “Cloth made in – Country of Origin” every two feet on

the cloth

5.

Every imported packed bale containing raw jute

or jute products

(a) “Made in Country of Origin”

(b) (i) Raw Jute: “Not to be used for manufacture of jute

products for packing foodgrains and sugar.”

(ii) Jute Products: “Not to be used for packing

foodgrains and sugar”.

(c) Name & Address of the Importer

Imported jute yarn.

(a) “Made in Country of Origin”.

(b) Name & Address of the Importer on the spools &

outside covers.

Jute Commissioner further directs all the importers of jute and jute textiles to abide by the following conditions:-

(a) Printing shall be made with indelible ink and total Marking/Printing/Branding shall be at least 250 x 200

mm size.

(b) In every imported jute bags and jute cloth, there should be four consecutive RED warp threads at a distance

of about 15 cm of the edge and four consecutive GREEN warp threads at a distance of about 30 cm from

the edge.

The aforesaid order will come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette and will be valid

until further order.
