और धारा 5ए कᳱ उप धारा (1) ᳇ारा ᮧद᭜ त शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए कᱶᮤ सरकार, एत᳏ारा वन महािनदेशक

एवं िवशेष सिचव, पयाᭅवरण, वन और जलवायु पᳯरवतᭅन मंᮢालय को पीसीए अिधिनयम, 1960 कᳱ धारा 5 (3) के

अंतगᭅत 24.12.2016 से 28.02.2017 कᳱ अविध के िलए मेजर जनरल (सेवािनवृ᭜ त) डॉ. आर.एम. खबᭅ, िज᭠ हᲂने

बोडᭅ से 23.12.2016 से इ᭭ तीफा दे ᳰदया है, के ᭭ थान पर भारतीय पशु क᭨ याण बोडᭅ का अ᭟ यᭃ िनयु᭍ त करती है।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 26th December, 2016

S.O. 4165(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 and

Section 5A of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960 (59 of 1960), the Central Government

hereby nominates Director General of Forests & Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest

and Climate Change, as Chairman of the Animal Welfare Board of India for the period from

24.12.2016 to 28.02.2017 under Section 5(3) of the PCA Act, 1960 vice Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Dr. R.M.

Kharb, who has resigned from the Board w.e.f. 23.12.2016.
