NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 27th December, 2016

S.O. 4170(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National

Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the officers mentioned in

column (2) of the Schedule annexed hereto as the competent authorities to perform the functions of such

authorities under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official

Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said

Schedule relating to Districts, Taluka, Police station and Villages mentioned in column (4), (5), (6) and (7)

respectively of the said Schedule for Widening and strengthening of existing Highway section to two laning

with paved shoulder of National Highway No. 353C in Gondia District on EPC mode in the State of

Maharashtra.

SCHEDULE

Acquisition of land in respect of National Highway No. 353C in the state of Maharashtra from km 87+700 to

km 90+900.
