᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए और राजपᮢ असाधारण भाग-II खंड-3 उपखंड-ii तारीख 5 नव᭥बर,

2005 मᱶ ᮧकािशत भारत सरकार के कृिष मंᮢालय के कृिष और सहकाᳯरता िवभाग कᳱ अिधसूचना का.आ.सं.

1567 (अ), तारीख 5 नव᭥बर, 2005 को उन बातᲂ के िसवाय अिधᮓांत करते ᱟए, ऐसे अिधᮓमण के पहले ᳰकया

गया है या करने का लोप ᳰकया गया है, कᱶᮤीय बीज सिमित से परामशᭅ करने के प᳟ात िबनौले मᱶ बैिसलस

᭝यूरीमिजनेिसस (बीटी जीन) िज᭠हᱶ लेिबल पर लगाने के िलए िबनौले कᳱ खेप (सीड लॉट) मᱶ ᮝांसजीन बैिसलस

᭝यूरीमिजनेिसस (बीटी) और अलग पैक (एसपी) हेतु बीटी टाि᭍सन के ᭠यूनतम ᭭तर तथा बैग मᱶ ᳯर᭢यूिजया

(आरआईबी) के संबंध मᱶ जीन शु᳍ता िविन᳸द᳥ करती है, जो िन᳜िलिखत है:-

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 27^th December, 2016

S.O. 4215(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Seeds Act, 1966 (Act 54 of

1966), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture,

Department of Agriculture and Cooperation dated the 5^th November, 2005, published in the Gazette of India,

Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 5^th November, 2005 vide S.O. No. 1567 (E), except

as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, after

consultation with the Central Seed Committee hereby specifies the gene purity in terms of transgene Bacillus

thuringiensis (Bt.) and minimum level of Bt. Toxin for Separate Pack (SP) and Refugia in Bag (RIB) in cotton

seed lots for labeling of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) genes in cotton seed, as follows:-

Bt. hybrid that is an isogenic version of the corresponding

‘Bt. hybrid’ or of a non-Bt. hybrid with similar flowering

period and fiber traits as that of 'Bt. hybrid' as per label

claim.

The Notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
