का.आ. 4251(अ).—के᭠ ᮤीय सरकार, िविन᳸द᭬ ट बᱹक नोट (उ᭜ तरदािय᭜ व का समा᭡ त होना) अ᭟ यादेश, 2016

(2016 का अ᭟ यादेश सं. 10) कᳱ धारा 4 कᳱ उपधारा (1) के खंड (i) के साथ पᳯठत धारा 2 कᳱ उपधारा (1) के खंड (ख) ᳇ारा

ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए, उ᭍ त अ᭟ यादेश कᳱ धारा 4 कᳱ उपधारा (1) के खंड (i) मᱶ िन᳸द᭬ ट भारत के नागᳯरक के

संबंध मᱶ,--

(क)

जो भारत मᱶ िनवासी है, 31 माचᭅ, 2017 को समा᭡ त होने वाली अविध; और

(ख)

जो भारत मᱶ िनवासी नहᱭ है, 30 जून, 2017 को समा᭡ त होने वाली अविध;

उ᭍ त अ᭟ यादेश के ᮧयोजनᲂ के िलए अनुᮕह अविध के ᱨप मᱶ िविन᳸द᭬ ट करती है:

परंतु ᮧ᭭ तुत िविन᳸द᭬ ट बᱹक नोटᲂ कᳱ रकम, िवदेशी मुᮤा ᮧबंध अिधिनयम, 1999 (1999 का 42) के उपबंधᲂ के

अधीन बनाए गए िवदेशी मुᮤा ᮧबंध (करᱶसी का िनयाᭅत और आयात) िविनयम, 2015 [अिधसूचना सं. एफ.ई.एम.ए. 6

(आर)/आरबी-2015, तारीख 29 ᳰदस᭥ बर, 2015] के िविनयम 3 या िविनयम 8 के अधीन िविन᳸द᭬ ट रकम से अिधक नहᱭ

होगी और उसमᱶ िविन᳸द᭬ ट शतᲄ का अनुपालन ᳰकया गया है ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 30th December, 2016

S.O. 4251(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 2, read

with clause (i) of sub-section (1) of section 4, of the Specified Bank Notes (Cessation of Liabilities)

Ordinance, 2016 (Ord. 10 of 2016), the Central Government hereby specifies, in respect of a citizen of India,

referred to in clause (i) of sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Ordinance,—

(a) who is a resident in India, the period ending on the 31st day of March, 2017; and

(b) who is not resident in India, the period ending on the 30th day of June, 2017,

as the grace period for the purposes of the said Ordinance:

Provided that the amount of specified bank notes tendered does not exceed the amount specified under

regulation 3 or regulation 8 of the Foreign Exchange Management (Export and Import of Currency)

Regulations, 2015 [Notification No. FEMA 6 (R)/RB-2015, dated the 29^th December, 2015] made under the

provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) and the conditions specified therein

are complied with.
