महापन यास अिधिनयम, 1963 (1963 का 38) क धारा 28 के खEड (ख) ारा द शि@य" का योग करते ह%ए मुंबई पोट. का यासी मंडल, मुंबई पोट. /0ट

कम.चारी (अवकाश) िविनयम, 1975 को आगे संशोिधत करने हेतु िनFन िविनयम बनाता है, यथा

(क)

संिGH शीष.क तथा ारंभ – इन िविनयम" को मुंबई पोट. /0ट कम.चारी (अवकाश) संशोधन िविनयम, 2016 कहलाए जाएं.

(ख)

ये क'( सरकार क मंजूरी सरकारी राजपB म' कािशत होने क ितिथ से लागू ह"गे.

मुंबई पोट. /0ट कम.चारी (अवकाश) िविनयम 1975 म'- िविनयम 13 को िनFन कार ित0थािपत िकया जायेगा.

“अवकाश लेखाः ‘िवभाग मुख’ का पद धारण करने वाले कम.चाPरय" के संबंध म' हर एक कम.चारी के अवकाश का लेखा सामाय शासन िवभाग ारा रखा

जायेगा तथा अय पद" को धारण करने वाले कम.चाPरय" के अवकाश का लेखा संबंिधत िवभाग मुख या उनके ािधकृत

अिधकारी/अिधकाPरय" ारा रखा जायेगा.”

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 30th December, 2016

G.S.R. 1186(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 124 read with Sub-section (1)

of the Section 132 of the Major Port Trust Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government hereby approves the Mumbai

Port Trust Employees (Leave) Regulations, 2016, made by the Board of Trustees of the Port of Mumbai and are set out in

the Schedule annexed to this Notification.

2.

The said Amendment Regulations shall come into force on the date of publication of this notification in the

Official Gazette.

SCHEDULE

MUMBAI PORT TRUST

Mumbai Port Trust Employees (Leave) Amendment Regulations, 2016.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, (38 of 1963) the Board of

Trustees of the Port of Mumbai hereby makes the following Regulations further to amend the Mumbai Port Trust

Employees (Leave) Regulations, 1975, namely :-

Short Title and Commencement:

(i)

These Regulations may be called the Mumbai Port Trust Employees (Leave) Amendment Regulations,

2016;

(ii)

They shall come into force on the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government as

required under the provisions of Sections 124 and 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, in the

Gazette of India.

2.

In the Mumbai Port Trust Employees (Leave) Regulations, 1975, in Regulation 13, the existing entries shall be

substituted as under:-

“Leave Account – A leave account shall be maintained for each employee by the General Administration

Department in the case of employees holding the post regarded as “Head of the Department”; and, in the case of

employees holding posts below the level of Head of Department by respective Head of Department or official(s)

authorized by him.”
