नई ᳰद᭨ ली, 26 ᳰदस᭥बर, 2016

सा.का.िन. 2(अ).—िवशेष आᳶथक ᭃेᮢ अिधिनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28) कᳱ धारा 55 ᳇ारा ᮧद᭜ त शि᭍ तयᲂ का

ᮧयोग करते ᱟए, कᱶᮤीय सरकार िवशेष आᳶथक ᭃेᮢ िनयम, 2006 मᱶ संशोधन करने के िलए आगे िन᭥ निलिखत िनयम बनाती

है, अथाᭅत:—

1. संिᭃ᭡ त नाम एवं आरंभ:—

(1)

इन िनयमᲂ को िवशेष आᳶथक ᭃेᮢ (संशोधन) िनयम, 2016 कहा जाएगा

(2)

ये भारतीय राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकाशन कᳱ तारीख से ᮧवृत हᲂगे।

2. िवशेष आᳶथक ᭃेᮢ िनयम, 2006 मᱶ, िनयम 5 क के िलए, िन᭥ निलिखत ᮧित᭭ थािपत ᳰकया जाएगा, अथाᭅत् :—

“5 क. सूचना ᮧौ᳒ोिगकᳱ, जैव ᮧौ᳒ोिगकᳱ, अनुसंधान एवं िवकास सुिवधाᲐ, फैबलैस सेमी कंड᭍ टर उ᳒ोग और

इले᭍ ᮝािनक िविनमाᭅण सेवाᲐ से संबंिधत अवसंरचना अपेᭃाएं - सूचना ᮧौ᳒ोिगकᳱ, जैव ᮧौ᳒ोिगकᳱ, अनुसंधान एवं

िवकास सुिवधाᲐ, फैबलैस सेमी कंड᭍ टर उ᳒ोग और इले᭍ ᮝािनक िविनमाᭅण सेवाᲐ से संबंिधत िवशेष आᳶथक ᭃेᮢ के

मामले मᱶ, िन᭥ निलिखत सुिवधाᲐ को सुिनि᭫ चत ᳰकया जाएगा, अथाᭅत:-

(क)

ᭃेᮢ मᱶ एक ि᭭ थर आवृि᭜ त पर 24 घंटे कᳱ अबािधत िव᳒ुत स᭡ लाई:

(ख)

अबािधत और सुरिᭃत डाटा ᮧसारण हेतु भरोसेमंद संयोजकता :

(ग)

कᱶᮤीय वातानुकूलन ᭪ यव᭭ था के िलए ᮧावधान: और

उप-ख᭛ ड (i) मᱶ ᮧकािशत ᳰकए गए थे तथा इनमᱶ ᳰदनांक 21 नव᭥बर 2016 को अिधसूचना सं. सा. का. िन. 1094(अ)

के तहत अंितम संशोधन ᱟआ था।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 26 December, 2016

G.S.R. 2(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55 of the Special Economic Zones Act,

2005 (28 of 2005), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Special

Economic Zones Rules, 2006, namely:—

1.

Short title and commencement:—

(1) These rules may be called the Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Rules, 2016.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

In the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, for rule 5A, the following shall be substituted,

namely:—

“5A. Infrastructure requirements relating to information technology, Bio-technology, Research

and Development facilities, Fabless Semi-conductor Industry and Electronic Manufacturing

Services - In case of a Special Economic Zone relating to information technology, Bio-technology,

Research and Development facilities, Fabless Semi-conductor Industry and Electronic Manufacturing

Services, the following facilities shall be ensured, namely:-

(a) twenty-four hours uninterrupted power supply at stable frequency in the zone;

(b) reliable connectivity for uninterrupted and secure data transmission;

(c) provision for central air-conditioning system; and

(d) a ready to use, furnished plug and pay facility for end users.”.
