का.आ. 224(अ).—जबᳰक, के᭠ ᮤीय सरकार ने, रा᭬ टीय अ᭠ वेषण अिभकरण अिधिनयम, 2008 (2008 का 34)

(िजसे इसके बाद उ᭍ त अिधिनयम के ᱨप मᱶ संदᳶभत ᳰकया गया है) कᳱ धारा 11 कᳱ उप-धारा (1) के अंतगᭅत ᮧद᭜ त शिᲦयᲂ

का ᮧयोग करते ᱟए, ᳰदनांक 29 अᮧैल, 2011 के भारत के राजपᮢ, असाधारण, भाग-II, ख᭛ ड-3, उप-ख᭛ ड (ii) मᱶ ᮧकािशत

ᳰदनांक 29 अᮧैल, 2011 कᳱ अिधसूचना सं᭎ या का.आ. 951(अ) के तहत िसिलगुड़ी ि᭭थत वᳯर᭬ ठतम अपर िजला एवं सᮢ

᭠ यायाधीश के ᭠ यायालय को उ᭍ त अिधिनयम कᳱ धारा 11 कᳱ उप-धारा (1) के ᮧयोजनाथᭅ अनुसूिचत अपराधᲂ के िवचारण के

िलए िवशेष ᭠ यायालय के ᱨप मᱶ अिधसूिचत ᳰकया था, िजसका ᭃेᮢािधकार पि᳟म-बंगाल रा᭔ य के दाᳶजᳲलग, जलपाईगुड़ी

तथा कूच-िबहार के िजलᲂ कᳱ सीमा के अंदर था;

और जबᳰक, ᮰ीमती च᭠ ᮤाणी मुखजᱮ (बनजᱮ), अपर िजला एवं सᮢ ᭠ यायाधीश, िसिलगुड़ी, दाᳶजᳲलग, िज᭠ हᱶ ᳰदनांक

18 ᳰदस᭥ बर, 2014 के भारत के राजपᮢ, असाधारण, भाग-II, ख᭛ ड-3, उप-ख᭛ ड (ii) मᱶ ᮧकािशत ᳰदनांक 18 ᳰदस᭥ बर,

2014 कᳱ अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 3233(अ) के तहत उ᭍ त िवशेष ᭠ यायालय कᳱ अ᭟ यᭃता करने हेतु ᭠ यायाधीश के ᱨप मᱶ

िनयु᭍ त ᳰकया गया था, का िसिलगुड़ी से ᭭ थानातंरण हो गया है;

अत: अब, के᭠ ᮤीय सरकार, उ᭍ त अिधिनयम कᳱ धारा-11 कᳱ उप-धारा (3) के अंतगᭅत ᮧद᭜ त कᳱ गई शिᲦयᲂ का

ᮧयोग करते ᱟए तथा 18 ᳰदस᭥ बर, 2014 कᳱ अिधसूचना सं᭎ या का.आ. 3233(अ) का अिधᮓमण करते ᱟए, िसवाय उन

कायᲄ के िज᭠ हᱶ ऐसे अिधᮓमण के पूवᭅ स᭥ पाᳰदत कर िलया गया था अथवा करने से लोप कर ᳰदया गया था, कोलकाता उ᭒ च

᭠ यायालय के माननीय मु᭎ य ᭠ यायाधीश कᳱ िसफाᳯरश पर ᮰ी अजय कुमार दास, अपर िजला एवं सᮢ ᭠ यायाधीश, ᮧथम

᭠ यायालय, िसिलगुड़ी, दाᳶजᳲलग को एतद् ᳇ारा, उ᭍ त िवशेष ᭠ यायालय कᳱ अ᭟ यᭃता करने हेतु ᭠ यायाधीश के ᱨप मᱶ िनयु᭍ त

करती है।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 23rd January, 2017

S.O. 224(E).—Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the

National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central

Government had, vide notification number S.O. 951(E), dated the 29^th April, 2011, published in the Gazette of

India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 29^th April, 2011, notified the Court of the

Seniormost Additional District and Sessions Judge at Siliguri as the Special Court for the purposes of sub-

section (1) of section 11 of the said Act having jurisdiction within the Districts of Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri and

Cooch Bihar of the State West Bengal for the trial of Scheduled Offences

And whereas, Smt. Chandrani Mukherjee (Banerjee), Additional District and Sessions Judge, Siliguri,

Darjeeling, who was appointed as the Judge to preside over the said Special Court vide notification number

S.O. 3233(E), dated the 18^th December, 2014, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,

Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 18^th December, 2014, has been transferred from Siliguri;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (3) of Section 11 of the said Act

and in supersession of the notification number S.O. 3233(E), dated the 18^th December, 2014, except as

respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, on the

recommendation of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Calcutta, hereby appoints Shri Ajay Kumar

Das, Additional District and Sessions Judge, 1^st Court, Siliguri, Darjeeling as the Judge to preside over the

said Special Court.
