आदेश

नई ᳰद᭨ ली, 13 फरवरी, 2017

का.आ.413(अ).— यत: भू-संपदा (िविनयमन और िवकास) अिधिनयम, 2016 (2016 का 16) (इसके बाद इसे

अिधिनयम कहा जाएगा) कᳱ धारा 20 कᳱ उप-धारा (1) के तीसरे परंतुक मᱶ यह ᭪ यव᭭ था है ᳰक िविनयामक ᮧािधकरण का गठन

ᳰकए जाने तक, समुिचत सरकार इस अिधिनयम के अंतगᭅत ᮧयोजनᲂ हेतु ᳰकसी िविनयामक ᮧािधकारी अथवा िविनयामक

ᮧािधकारी के ᱨप मᱶ ᳰकसी अिधकारी को नािमत करेगी;

और यत: के᭠ ᮤ सरकार, अिधिनयम कᳱ धारा 2 के खंड (छ) के अनुसार अंडमान और िनकोबार ᳇ीप समूह संघ रा᭔ य

ᭃेᮢ के िलए इस अिधिनयम के अंतगᭅत समुिचत सरकार है;

अत: अब, के᭠ ᮤ सरकार इस अिधिनयम कᳱ धारा 20 कᳱ उप धारा (1) के तीसरे परंतुक ᳇ारा ᮧद᭜ त शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग

करते ᱟए, इस अिधिनयम के ᮧयोजनᲂ हेतु ᮧधान सिचव, शहरी िवकास, अंडमान और िनकोबार ᮧशासन को िविनयामक

ᮧािधकारी के ᱨप मᱶ एत᳏ारा िनयु᭍ त करती है।

ORDER

New Delhi, the 13th February, 2017

S.O.413(E).—Whereas, the third proviso to sub-section (1) of section 20 of the Real Estate (Regulation and

Development) Act, 2016 (16 of 2016) (hereinafter referred to as the Act) stipulates that until the establishment of a

Regulatory Authority, the appropriate Government shall designate any Regulatory Authority or any officer as the

Regulatory Authority for the purposes under the Act;

And Whereas, the Central Government is the appropriate Government under the Act for the Union territory of Andaman

& Nicobar Islands in terms of clause (g) of Section 2 of the Act;

Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the third proviso to sub-section (1) of section 20 of the Act, the

Central Government hereby designates Principal Secretary, Urban Development, Andaman & Nicobar Administration as

the Regulatory Authority, for the purposes of the Act.
