2038 (अ).—के᭠ᮤीय सरकार संतु᳥ है ᳰक लोकिहत मᱶ ऐसा करना अपेिᭃत है ᳰक ‘ᲊधन गैसᲂ का ᮧसं᭭करण या उ᭜पादन

या िवतरण’ (कोयला गैस, ᮧाकृितक गैस और जैसे) उ᳒ोग मᱶ सेवाᲐ को िजसे औ᳒ोिगक िववाद अिधिनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) कᳱ

ᮧथम अनुसूची कᳱ ᮧिवि᳥ 29 के अ᭠तगᭅत िन᳸द᳥ ᳰकया गया है, उᲦ अिधिनयम के ᮧयोजनᲂ के िलए लोक उपयोगी सेवाएं घोिषत ᳰकया

जाना चािहए I

अतः, अब, औ᳒ोिगक िववाद अिधिनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) कᳱ धारा 2 के ख᭛ड (ढ) के उपखंड (vi) ᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का

ᮧयोग करते ᱟए, कᱶᮤीय सरकार उᲦ उ᳒ोग को उᲦ अिधिनयम के ᮧयोजनᲂ के िलए त᭜काल ᮧभाव से छः मास कᳱ कालाविध के िलए लोक

उपयोगी सेवा घोिषत करती है।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th June, 2017

S.O. 2038(E).— Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the public interest requires that the services

in the Processing or production or distribution of fuel gases (coal gas, natural gas and the like) which is covered by

item 29 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), should be declared to be a ‘Public Utility

Service’ for the purposes of the said Act.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section 2 of the Industrial

Disputes Act, 1947, the Central Government hereby declares with immediate effect the said industry to be a ‘Public

Utility Service’ for the purpose of the said Act for a period of six months.
