का.आ. 2043(अ).— यत: केन् ᮤीय सरकार का यह मत है िक सम् पूणर् नागालᱹड राज् य की सीमा के भीतर आने वाला

क्षेᮢ ऐसी अशांत और खतरनाक िस्थित मᱶ है िजससे वहां नागिरक ᮧशासन की सहायता के िलए सशस् ᮢ बलᲂ का ᮧयोग करना

आवश् यक है।

अत:, अब, सशस् ᮢ बल (िवशेष शिᲦयां) अिधिनयम, 1958 (1958 की संख् या 28) की धारा 3 ᳇ारा ᮧदत् त शिᲦयᲂ

का ᮧयोग करते हुए, केन् ᮤीय सरकार एत᳏ारा उक् त अिधिनयम के ᮧयोजन के िलए, उक् त सम् पूणर् राज् य को 30 जून, 2017 से

छ: माह की अविध तक ‘अशांत क्षेᮢ’ घोिषत करती है।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 30^th June, 2017

S.O. 2043(E).— Whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that the area comprising the whole of

State of Nagaland is in such a disturbed and dangerous condition that the use of armed forces in aid of the civil power is

necessary.

2. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act,

1958 (No. 28 of 1958) the Central Government hereby declares that whole of the said State to be a ‘disturbed area’ for a

period of six months with effect from 30^th June, 2017 for the purpose of that Act.
