सा.का.िन.866(अ).—चूंिक कᱶᮤ सरकार ने कᱶᮤीय रोजगार गारंटी पिरषद को महात् मा गांधी राष् ᮝीय

ᮕामीण रोजगार गारंटी अिधिनयम, 2005 (2005 का अिधिनयम संख् या 42) और इसके ᮧावधानᲂ के अनुसार सᲅपे

गए कृत् यᲂ और दाियत् वᲂ के िनवर्हन के िलए कᱶᮤीय रोजगार गारंटी पिरषद का गठन ᮕामीण िवकास मंᮢालय मᱶ

भारत सरकार की िदनांक 22 िसतम् बर, 2006 की अिधसूचना संख् या का.आ.1604(अ) ᳇ारा िकया था;

और चूंिक उक् त अिधसूचना तथा पश् चावतᱮ अिधसूचना संख् या सा.का.िन. 762 (अ), तारीख 5 िदसम् बर,

2007, अिधसूचना संख् या सा.का.िन. 787 (अ), तारीख 24 िदसम् बर, 2007, अिधसूचना संख् या सा.का.िन. 162

(अ) िदनांक 12 माचर्, 2009, अिधसूचना संख् या सा.का.िन. 699 (अ), िदनांक 24 िसतम् बर, 2009,

अिधसूचना संख् या सा.का.िन. 469 (अ), िदनांक 20 जून, 2011 और िदनांक 5 फरवरी, 2016 की अिधसूचना

संख् या सा.का.िन. 145 (अ) ᳇ारा नािमत सदस् यᲂ का कायर्काल समाप् त हो गया है; अत: कᱶᮤ सरकार ने उक् त

महात् मा गांधी राष् ᮝीय ᮕामीण रोजगार गारंटी अिधिनयम, 2005 की धारा 10 की उपधारा (3) के अधीन नये

सदस् यᲂ को अिधसूचना संख् या सा.का.िन. 627 (अ) िदनांक 21 जून, 2017 ᳇ारा एक वषर् की अविध अथार्त

20 जून, 2018 के िलए नामिन᳸दर्ष् ट िकया गया है;

अब, महात् मा गांधी राष् ᮝीय ᮕामीण रोजगार गारंटी (कᱶᮤीय पिरषद) िनयम, 2006 के िनयम संख् या 3 और

4 के साथ पिठत उक् त महात् मा गांधी राष् ᮝीय ᮕामीण रोजगार गारंटी अिधिनयम, 2005 की धारा 10 की उपधारा

(1) और (3) के अधीन ᮧदत् त शिक् तयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते हुए कᱶᮤ सरकार उक् त महात् मा गांधी राष् ᮝीय ᮕामीण

रोजगार गारंटी अिधिनयम, 2005 की धारा 10 की उपधारा (3) के अधीन िनम् निलिखत सदस् यᲂ को भी

नामिन᳸दर्ष् ट करती है, अथार्त:-

(ख) अिधिनयम की धारा 10 (3)(घ) के अधीन पंचायती राज संस् थाᲐ, कामगार संगठनᲂ और वंिचत समूहᲂ से गैर

सरकारी सदस् य :

उपयुर्क् त सदस् यᲂ की पदाविध राजपᮢ मᱶ इस अिधसूचना के ᮧकाशन की तारीख से एक वषर् की अविध के

िलए होगी। िनयुिक् त के अन् य िनबंधन और शतर् राष् ᮝीय रोजगार गारंटी (केन् ᮤीय पिरषद) िनयम, 2006 ᳇ारा

िविनयिमत हᲂगी।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 12th July, 2017

G.S.R. 866(E).—Whereas by a notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Rural Development

number S.O. 1604(E), dated the 22^nd September, 2006, the central Government constituted the Central Employment

Guarantee Council to discharge the functions and perform duties assigned to it by or under the provisions of the National

Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (42 of 2005);

And whereas, the term of office of the members nominated vide said notifications and subsequent Notifications

Number G.S.R.762 (E), dated 5^th December, 2007, G.S.R 787 (E), dated 24^th December, 2007, G.S.R. 162 (E), dated

12^th March, 2009, G.S.R. 699 (E) dated 24^th September, 2009, G.S.R.469 (E) dated 20^th June, 2011 and G.S.R. 145 (E)

dated 5^th February, 2016 has been expired. Therefore, the Central Government nominated new members on the Council

under sub-section (3) of section 10 of the said Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 vide

notification Number 627(E), dated 21^st June, 2017 for a period of one year i.e. upto 20^th June, 2018.

Now, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 10 of the said Mahatma

Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 read with rules 3 and 4 of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural

Employment Guarantee(Central Council) Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby also nominates the following

members on the Council under sub-section (3) of section 10 of the said Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment

Guarantee Act, 2005, namely:-

(B) Non official members from Panchayati Raj Institutions, organizations of workers and disadvantaged

groups under sections 10 (3) (d) of the Act.

publication of this notification in the official Gazette. The other terms and conditions of appointment shall be regulated

by the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee (Central Council) Rules, 2006
