dk- vk- 2213¼v½.— यत:, मै. िवपरो िलिमटेड, ने आंᮥ ᮧदेश राज्य के रेसापुवानीपलेम गाँव, ओल्ड टीबी
हॉस्पीटल ऐिरया, िवशाखापᱫनम मᱶ सूचना ᮧौ᳒ोिगकी एवं सूचना ᮧौ᳒ोिगकी समिथर्त सेवाᲐ के िलए एक क्षेᮢ
िविश᳥ िवशेष आिथर्क जोन की स्थापना हेतु िवशेष आिथर्क जोन अिधिनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28) (िजसे
एतद्प᳟ात उᲦ अिधिनयम कहा गया है ) की धारा 3 के अंतगर्त ᮧस्ताव िकया है;
और यत:, केन्ᮤ सरकार इस बात से संतु᳥ है िक उᲦ अिधिनयम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (8) के अंतगर्त
अपेक्षाᲐ तथा अन्य संबंिधत अपेक्षाᲐ को पूरा कर िलया गया है और उसने उपयुर्Ღ िवशेष आिथर्क जोन के िवकास,
ᮧचालन एवं रखरखाव हेतु उᲦ अिधिनयम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (10) के अंतगर्त िदनांक 21 िदसंबर, 2015
एवं 30 माचर्, 2017 को अनुमोदन पᮢ ᮧदान कर िदया है;
अत:, अब, िवशेष आिथर्क जोन अिधिनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) ᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का
ᮧयोग करते हुए और िवशेष आिथर्क जोन अिधिनयम, 2006 के िनयम 8 के अनुसरण मᱶ केन्ᮤ सरकार, एतद् ᳇ारा
उपयुर्Ღ स्थान के 2.89 हेक्टेयर (7.14 एकड़) के नीचे दी गई तािलका मᱶ िदए गए खसरा नंबर के क्षेᮢ को िवशेष
आिथर्क जोन के रूप मᱶ अिधसूिचत करती है, अथार्त:-

और अत: िवशेष आिथर्क जोन अिधिनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28) की धारा 13 की उप-धारा (1) ᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ
शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते हुए, केन्ᮤ सरकार एतद् ᳇ारा उᲦ अिधिनयम की धारा 14 के ᮧयोजनाथर् उपयुर्Ღ िवशेष आिथर्क जोन
के िलए एक सिमित, िजसे अनुमोदन सिमित कहा जाएगा, गिठत करती है, िजसके अध्यक्ष और सदस्य िन᳜ानुसार हᱹ, अथार्त:-
1. िवशेष आिथर्क जोन का िवकास आयुᲦ
अध्यक्ष, पदेन
2. िनदेशक अथवा उप-सिचव, भारत सरकार, वािणज्य एवं उ᳒ोग मंᮢालय,
वािणज्य िवभाग या उसका नािमती िजसका स्तर अवर सिचव, भारत सरकार से
कम नहᱭ होगा
सदस्य, पदेन
3. िवशेष आिथर्क जोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेᮢािधकार रखने वाले क्षेᮢीय संयुᲦ िवदेश
᳞ापार महािनदेशक
सदस्य, पदेन
4. िवशेष आिथर्क जोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेᮢािधकार रखने वाले सीमाशुल्क आयुᲦ या
केन्ᮤीय उत्पाद शुल्क आयुᲦ अथवा उनका नािमती िजसका स्तर संयुᲦ आयुᲦ से
कम नहᱭ होगा

और अत: िवशेष आिथर्क जोन अिधिनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28) की धारा 53 की उप-धारा (2) ᳇ारा
ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते हुए केन्ᮤ सरकार एतारा िदनांक 7 जुलाई, 2017 को उस तारीख के रूप मᱶ
िनधार्िरत करती है िजस तारीख से उपयुर्Ღ िवशेष आिथर्क जोन को सीमा-शुल्क अिधिनयम, 1962 (1962 का 52)
की धारा 7 के अंतगर्त अंतदᱷशीय कंटेनर िडपो माना जाएगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 7th July l, 2017
S.O. 2213(E).— Whereas, M/s. Wipro Limited has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones
Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a Sector Specific Special Economic Zone for
IT/ITES at Resapuvanipalem Village, Old TB Hospital Area, Visakhapatnam, in the State of Andhra Pradesh;
And, Whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said
Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3
of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the above sector specific Special Economic Zone on 21st
December, 2015 and 30th March, 2017;
Now, Therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special
Economic Zones Rules, 2006, hereby notifies the 2.89 hectares (7.14 acres) area at above location
with survey number given in the table below as a Special Economic Zone, namely:—

AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval
Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of section 14 of the said Act consisting of the
following Chairperson and Members, namely:-
1. Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone
Chairperson
ex officio;
2.
Director or Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and
Industry, Department of Commerce or his nominee not below the rank of Under
Secretary to the Government of India
Member ex officio;
3.
Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade having territorial jurisdiction over the
Special Economic Zone
Member ex officio;
4.
Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial jurisdiction over the
Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner
Member ex officio;
5.
Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the Special
Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner
Member ex officio;
6.
Director (Banking) in the Ministry of Finance, Banking Division, Government of
India
Member ex officio;
7.
Two officers, not below the rank of Joint Secretary, to be nominated by the State
Government
Member ex officio;
8.
Representative of the Developer of the zone
Special invitee
And, Therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 53 of
the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby appoints the 7th day of July, 2017 as the date from which the
above Special Economic Zone shall be deemed to be Inland Container Depot under section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962
(52 of 1962).
