CORRIGENDUM TO NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 31st August, 2017

S.O. 2846(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3A of the National Highways

Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of

the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number S.O.1281 (E) dated the 19nd

April, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 24nd

April, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification,

In the Schedule of the said notification, contents given under column no.5,6,7& 8 are to be replaced with

contents given under column no. 9,10,11 & 12 against respective survey no.

and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow

or disallow the objections.

Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be

final.

inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.

Road Transport and Highways, Department of Road Transport and Highways number S.O. 1281 (E) dated

19.04.2017, was published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) on 24.04.2017

issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) read with section 11-

12 Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitaion and Resettelment Act, 2013

(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified

in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening / Two -laning, etc.), maintenance,

management and operation for providing Bypass on NH 90 for Aklera town in Jhalawar District in state of

Rajasthan, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land;

And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Rajasthan Patrika” dated the

15.05.2017 and “Denik Bhaskar” dated 15.05.2017, 16.05.2017 under sub-section (3) of section 3Aof the said

Act;read with section 11-12 Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitaion and

Resettelment Act, 2013

And whereas objection has been received by the competent authority was disposed of and no action is

pending now.

And whereas, in pursuance of Sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act,read with section 19 Right to

Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitaion and Resettelment Act, 2013 the

competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government;

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers

conferred by Sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act,read with section 19 Right to Fair Compensation and

Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitaion and Resettelment Act, 2013 the Central Government hereby

declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And further, in pursuance of Sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act,read with section 19 Right to

Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitaion and Resettelment Act, 2013 the Central

Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in

the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
