का.आ. 2865(अ).—केन्ᮤीय सरकार, रा᳦ीय राजमागर् अिधिनयम, 1956 (1956 का 48) की धारा 5 ᳇ारा ᮧदत् त

शिक् तयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते हुए, एतद् ᳇ारा िनदेश देती है िक इसके साथ संलग् न तािलका के कॉलम (2) मᱶ विणर्त ᮧत् येक राष् ᮝीय

राजमागर् से संबंिधत कायᲄ का िनष् पादन करने के संबंध मᱶ ᮧत् येक राष् ᮝीय राजमागर् के सामने तािलका के कॉलम (3) मᱶ

िविनधार्िरत कायर् इस शतर् के अध् यधीन राज् य सरकारᲂ ᳇ारा पूरे िकए जाएंगे िक संबंिधत राज् य सरकार उक् त अिधिनयम के

अधीन वतर्मान मᱶ लागू िनयमᲂ का अनुपालन करने के िलए ऐसे कायᲄ को करने के िलए बाध् य हᲂगी और उस ᮧयोजनाथर्

भारत सरकार के तत् कालीन पोत पिरवहन, सड़क पिरवहन और राजमागर् मंᮢालय (सड़क पिरवहन और राजमागर् िवभाग),

की अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 1096 (अ), िदनांिकत 4 अगस् त, 2005 मᱶ एतद् ᳇ारा िनम् निलिखत और संशोधन करती है, नामत:-

उक् त अिधसूचना की अनुसूची मᱶ, ᮓम सं. 12 के िलए तथा उससे संबंिधत ᮧिविष् टयᲂ के स् थान पर िनम् निलिखत

ᮧिविष् टयां अंत:स् थािपत की जाएंगी, नामत:-

बार अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 2175(अ), िदनांिकत 11 अगस् त, 2017 ᳇ारा संशोिधत िकया गया था ।

MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 1st September, 2017

S.O. 2865(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956

(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the functions in relation to the execution of works

pertaining to each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be

exercisable by the State Government specified in column (3) of the Table against each highway subject to the

condition that the State Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with

the rules for the time being in force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following further

amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road

Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O 1096(E), dated the 4^th

August, 2005, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 12 and the entries relating thereto, the

following shall be substituted, namely: -

“12 So much of National Highways No. 17, No. 47 [excluding from Km. 551.900 to

Km. 599.000 (Thiruvananthapuram-Kerala/Tamilnadu border section) and from

Km. 182.040 to Km. 358.750 (from Tamil Nadu/Kerala Border to Kochi)], No. 47A,

No. 49, No. 208, No. 212, No. 213, No. 220, new NH No. 183, new NH No. 183A

and new NH No. 185 as are situated within the State of Kerala.
