का.आ. 3404(अ).—जबक भारत सरकार ने, आईएस 16333 (भाग 3): 2016 के अनुसार मोबाइल फोन के िलए

भारतीय भाषा सहयोग अिनवाय करने के िलए आदेश जारी कया है, और जबक मोबाइल ह$डसेट िनमाता' ने आदेश के

अनुपालन के संबंध म, -चंताएं / य त क0 ह$, और जबक आदेश के िन1व2 न काया3 वयन के िलए उ5ोग को सहायता 6दान

करने और इन मु78 का समाधान करने के िलए िन9 निलिखत अिधसूचना को आदेश क0 िनरंतरता म, जारी कया जाता है ।

2. तारीख म, िव= तार

उपयु त आदेश के 6भाव म, आने क0 तारीख 1 फरवरी, 2018 तक बढ़ा दी गई है ।

ORDER

New Delhi, the 20th October, 2017

Subject: Extension in date for mandating IS 16333 (Part 3): 2016–Indian Language Support for

Mobile Phones

S.O. 3404(E).—Whereas Government of India, has issued the Order for mandating Indian Language

Support for Mobile Phones as per IS 16333 (Part 3): 2016, and whereas mobile handset manufactures have

raised concerns with regard to compliance to the Order, and whereas to address these issues and to facilitate

the industry for smooth implementation of the Order, the following notification is issued in continuation of the

Order.

Extension in date:

The date of coming into effect of the aforesaid Order stands extended to 1^st February, 2018.

Note: The Principal Order was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide S.O. number 2357(E),

dated 3^rd October, 2012 and subsequently amended vide S.O. 2034(E), dated 5^th July, 2013,

S.O. 3022(E), dated 4^th October, 2013, S.O. 2905(E), dated 13^th November, 2014, S.O. 345(E), dated

3^rd February, 2016, S.O. 638(E), dated 10^th February, 2016 and S.O. 3509(E), dated 24^th October, 2016.
