S.O. 740(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines

(Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said Act), the

Government of India hereby authorizes Shri Balraj Singh, District Revenue Officer, Government of Haryana

to perform the functions of Competent Authority under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of

Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 for all natural gas pipelines of GAIL (India) Limited in the State of Haryana.

This notification will be effective from the date of its issue.
