NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th February, 2018

S.O. 741(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and

Highways number S.O. 3617 (E) dated 17-11-2017, Published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-

section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter

referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule

annexed to the said notification for building (widening /two lane etc.), maintenance, management and operation of

National Highway No. 200 in the stretch of land from Km. 141.000 to Km. 160.687 (Bilaspur-Raigarh-Urdawal Section)

in the District of Janjgir-Champa in the State of Chhattisgarh;

And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in " 01.12.2017" dated the Patrika (Hindi

& English version) and Dainik Bhaskar (Hindi & English version) on dated 02.12.17 under sub-section (3) of section 3A

of the said Act;

And whereas some objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the

competent authority;

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has

submitted its report to the Central Government;

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land

specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby

declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said schedule shall vest

absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th February, 2018

S.O. 742 (E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and

Highways number S.O. 3618 (E) dated 17-11-2017, Published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-

section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter

referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule

annexed to the said notification for building (widening /two lane etc.), maintenance, management and operation of

National Highway No. 200 in the stretch of land from Km 127.650 to Km. 139.180 (Bilaspur-Raigarh-Urdawal

Section) in the District of Bilaspur in the State of Chhattisgarh;

And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in " 01.12.2017" dated the Patrika

(Hindi & English version) and Dainik Bhaskar (Hindi & English version) on dated 02.12.17 under sub-section (3) of

section 3A of the said Act;

And whereas some objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the

competent authority;

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has

submitted its report to the Central Government;

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land

specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby

declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said schedule shall vest

absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

S.O. 743 (E).— In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act,

1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the

public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building

(Widening/four laninig, etc.) maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No.200 (New N.H.-49) in

the stretch of land from Km. 141.000 to Km. 160.687 (Bilaspur–Raigarh-Urdawal Section) in the District of

Janjgir-Champa in the State of Chhattisgarh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land;

Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this

notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of

section 3C of the said Act.

Every such objection shall be made to the Competent authority, namely, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate

(SDM), Champa, District Janjgir-Champa, (Chhattisgarh) state in Writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and

the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner,

and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks

necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.

Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final.

The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by

the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th February, 2018

S.O. 744 (E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act,

1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the

public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building (Toll

Plaza) maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No.200 (New N.H.-49) in the stretch of land

from Km. 138.250 to Km. 138.750 (Bilaspur –Raigarh-Urdawal Section) in the District of Bilaspur in the State of

Chhattisgarh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land;

Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this

notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of

section 3C of the said Act.

Every such objection shall be made to the Competent authority, namely, the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM),

Bilaspur, District Bilaspur, (Chhattisgarh) state in Writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the competent

authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after

hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by

order, either allow or disallow the objections.

Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final.

The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by

the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.
