NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 26th February, 2018

O.N. 27(E).— In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the

Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India hereby makes the

following amendments in its Notification No. 434/BR-HP/2009(2), dated 26^th February, 2009 as amended

from time to time, relating to appointment of Assistant Returning Officer:

In column (2) of the table appended to the said Notification, in addition to the existing entries against

item No. 9-Araria, the following entries shall be added.

12. Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redressal Officer, Araria

The appointment of the above Officers as Assistant Returning Officers in said Parliamentary

Constituency shall cease to be in operation on successful completion of the election in the said constituency.
