और यत:, के?@ सरकार ने िवशेष आ/थक जोन िनयम 2006 के िनयम 8 के साथ पCठत उ< आिधिनयम क धारा 4 क

उप-धारा (1) Gारा दH शि<यI का योग करते +ए वािण!य एवं उKोग मंLालय क अिधसूचना संNयाआ का.आ. 342 (अ) >दनांक

06 फरवरी, 2013 Gारा उपयु< िवशेष आ/थक जोन म 1013.64 हेPटेयर QेL को अिधसूिचत कर >दया था;

और यत;, मR. काकनाड़ा एसईजेड िलिमटेड ने उपरो< 1थान पर ि1थत केएसईजेड-1 एवं केएसईजेड-2 के 2049.3088

हेPटेयर QेL को Pलब करने का 1ताव >कया था और के?@ सरकार ने >दनांक 13.01.2016 को 1वीकृत पL दान कर >दया था;

उप-धारा (1) Gारा दH शि<यI का योग करते +ए वािण!य एवं उKोग मंLालय क अिधसूचना संNयाआ का.आ. 2177 (अ) >दनांक

5 जुलाई, 2017 Gारा उपयु< िवशेष आ/थक जोन म 121.43 हेPटेयर QेL को अनिधसूिचत कर >दया था;

और यत;, मR. काकनाड़ा एसईजेड िलिमटेड ने अब उ< िवशेष आ/थक जोन के 48.5715 हेPटेयर के QेL को अनिधसूिचत करने

का 1ताव >कया है;

और यत;, आं देश सरकार ने उनके >दनांक 23.11.2017 के पL सं. 7549/इ?Wा/ए3/2017 के तहत 1ताव को अनापिH

माण पL दे >दया है;

और यत;, िवकास आयु<, िवशाखापHनम िवशेष आ/थक जोन ने िवशेष आ/थक जोन के 48.5715 हेPटेयर QेL को

अनिधसूिचत करने के 1ताव को सं1तुित क है;

और यत:, के?@ सरकार, इस बात से संतुY है >क अिधिनयम क धारा 3 क उप-धारा (8) के अंतगत अपेQाZ तथा अ?य

सं[बिधत अपेQाZ को पूरा कर िलया गया है;

अत:, अब िवशेष आ/थक जोन अिधिनयम, 2005 क धारा 4 क उप-धारा (1) के दूसरे पर?तुक Gारा दH शि<यI का योग

करते +ए और िवशेष आ/थक जोन िनयमावली, 2006 के िनयम 8 के अनुसरण म के?@ सरकार एत:\दारा 48.5715 हेPटेयर के QेL को

उ< िवशेष आ/थक जोन के भाग म से अनिधसूिचत करती है, िजसके पCरमाणत: कुल QेL 1879.3073 हेPटेयर हो जाएगा िजसम

िन_िलिखत तािलका म उि`लिखत सवaQण संNयाएं और QेL शािमल है, अथात् :-

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 14th March, 2018

S.O. 1217(E).—Whereas, M/s. Kakinada SEZ Limited (formerly M/s. Kakinada SEZ Private Limited), had

proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act)

to set up a Multi Product Special Economic Zone at Ponnada, Mulapeta, Ramanakkapeta Villages in Kakinada, East

Godavari District, in the State of Andhra Pradesh;

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4

of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of 1013.64 hectares vide

Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S. O. 342 (E) dated 06.02.2013;

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Kakinada SEZ Limited ha proposed for clubbing of KSEZ-1 and KSEZ-II at above

location over an area of 2049.3088 hectares and Central Government has granted letter of approval on13.01.2016;

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4

of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had de-notified an area of 121.43 hectares

vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 2177(E) dated 05.07.2017;

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Kakinada SEZ Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 48.5715 hectares at the

above Special Economic Zone;

AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has given its approval to the proposal vide letter

No.7549/Infra/A3/2017, dated 23.11.2017;

AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has recommended

the proposal for de-notification of an area of 48.5715 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;

NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3

of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of

the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the

Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 48.5715 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 1879.3073

hectares, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:-
