304 (अ).—क ीय सरकार ने, राीय राजमाग अिधिनयम, 1956 (1956 का 48) (िजसे इसम इसके

पात उ अिधिनयम कहा गया है) क धारा 3 क क उपधारा (1) के अधीन जारी क गई भारत सरकार के सडक परवहन

और राजमाग मं!ालय क अिधसूचना सं"या का.आ. 2006 (अ) तारीक 18 मे, 2018, जो भारत के राजप!, असाधारण,

भाग II, ख$ड 3, उपखंड (ii) म &ाकािशत क गई थी, )ारा आं+ &देश रा-य के पि.छम गोदावरी िजले म रािय राजमाग

सं"या 16 / 216ए के 979.130 क.मी. से 1022.494 क.मी. (गुंडुगोलनु – राजमहवरम से0शन) तक के भूखंड के िनमाण

(चौडा करने / चार / छे लेन का बनाने, आद) अनुर4ण, &ब5ध और &चालन के िलए उस अिधसूचना से उपाब8 अनुसूची म

िविन9द: भूिम का अजन करने के अपने आषय क घो़षणा क थी;

और उ अिधसूचना का सार उ अिधिनयम क धारअ 3 क क उपधारा (3) के अधीन तारीख 26 मे, 2018 को

“द ;हंदु” (अं<ेजी) और “सा4ी” (तेलुगु) दोन> म &कािशत कया गया था;

और आ4ेप &ा? @ए थे और स4म &ािधकारी ने उन पर िवचार कर िलया है और आ4ेप> को अननुBात कर दया है;

और स4म &ािधकारी ने उ अिधिनयम क धारा 3घ क उपधारा (1) के अनुसरण म, के5ीय सरकार को अपनी

रपोट दे दी है ;

&योजन के िलए अजन कया जाना चािहए ;

और अब, के5ीय सरकार, उ अिधिनयम क धारा 3घ क उपधारा (2) के अनुसरण म, यह घोषणा करती है क

इस अिधसूचना के राजप! म &काशन पर, उ अनुसूची म िविन9द: भूिम, सभी िवलंगम> से मु होकर आGयि5तक Hप से

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 21st December, 2018

S.O. 6304(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and

Highways, number S.O.2006(E), dated 18th May, 2018 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,

Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter

referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule

annexed to the said notification for building (widening / four laning /six Lanning, etc.), maintenance, management and

operation of National Highway No.16/216A in the stretch of land from Km.979.130 to Km 1022.494 (Gundugolanu-

Rajamahendravaram section) in the District of West Godavari in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “The Hindu” (English), and “Sakshi”

(Telugu), both dated 26.05.2018; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act,

And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the

competent authority;

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has

submitted its report to the Central Government;

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land

specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby

declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest

absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
