New Delhi, the, 8th January, 2020

S.O. 118(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Compensatory

Afforestation Fund Act, 2016 (38 of 2016), read with the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019 (No. 34

of 2019) and Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization (Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2019, the Central Government

hereby appoints the 8th day of January, 2020 as the date of constitution of State Authorities, to be called the “State

Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority” in each of the following Union

territories:—
