NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 12th December, 2020

S.O. 4683(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (3) of section 1 of the Metro

Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (33 of 1978) and sub- section (2) of section 1 of the Metro

Railways (Operation and Maintenance) Act, 2002 (60 of 2002), the Central Government, after consultation

with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, hereby declare that the provisions of the said Acts, shall

respectively extend to Bhopal Metropolitan Area and Indore Metropolitan Area in the State of Madhya

Pradesh with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
