का.आ. 4745(अ).—17.08.2006 को अजधसूजचत और 16.05.2016 को यथासंिोजधत मुख्य िैद्युत जनरीक्षक
और िैद्युत जनरीक्षक की अहहता, िजि और कायह जनयमािली, 2006 (जिसे इसके बाद उि जनयमािली कहा गया है) के
साथ पठित जिद्युत अजधजनयम, 2003 (2003 का 36) की धारा 162 की उपधारा (1) के द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग
करते हुए, केंद्र सरकार एतदद्वारा केंद्रीय जिद्युत प्राजधकरण के जनम्नजलजखत अजधकाठरयों को इस अजधसूचना की तारीख से
सीईए में उनके कायहकाल तक अथिा अगले आदेिों तक, िो भी पहले हो, उपयुहि जनयम में उजल्लजखत अहहता और ितह को
पूरा करने के अध्यधीन सीईएके जलए िैद्युत जनरीक्षक के रूप में जनयुि करती हैः

उपयुहि उजल्लजखत अजधकारी समय-समय पर यथासंिोजधत केंद्रीय जिद्युत प्राजधकरण (सुरक्षा और जिद्युत आपूर्तत
से संबंजधत उपाय) जिजनयम, 2010 में दी गई प्रदक्रया के अनुसार, सीईए के अजधकार िाले क्षेत्रों में प्रचालनाधीन िैद्युत
कायों, िैद्युत संस्ट्थापनाओं तथा िैद्युत रोललग स्ट्टॉक के संबंध में अजधकारों का प्रयोग करेंगे और अपना कायह जनष्पाददत
करेंगे।

यह सुजनजित दकया िाएगा दक उपयुहि अजधकारी दकसी िैद्युत कायह अथिा संस्ट्थापना, जिनका जनष्पादन अथिा
रख-रखाि उनका दाजयत्ि है, के संबंध मेंअपनेसंबंजधत पदपर िैद्युत जनरीक्षक नहीं होंगे।
िैद्युत जनरीक्षक के रूप में जनयुि अजधकारी िह प्रजिक्षण लेंगे जिसे केंद्र सरकार इस उद्देश्य के जलए आिश्यक
समझे तथा ऐसा प्रजिक्षण सरकार की संतुजि के स्ट्तर तक पूरा दकया िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th December, 2020
S.O. 4745(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 162 of the Electricity Act,
2003 (36 of 2003) read with Qualification, Power and Function of Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors
Rules, 2006 (herein after called the said Rules) notified on 17.8.2006 and as amended on 16.05.2016, the Central
Government hereby appoints the following officers of Central Electricity Authority as Electrical Inspector for CEA,
from the date of this Notification till their tenure in CEA or till further orders, whichever is earlier, subject to
fulfilment of the qualification and Condition mentioned in the said Rules.

The above mentioned officers shall exercise the powers and perform his functions in respect of electrical
works, electrical installations and electrical rolling stock in operation within the jurisdiction of CEA, as per the
procedure provided in Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electricity Supply) Regulations,
2010, as amended from time to time.
It shall be ensured that above said officers do not function as the Electrical Inspector in respect of any
electrical work or installation, the execution or maintenance of which is their responsibility.
The officers appointed as Electrical Inspector shall undergo such training as the Central Government may
consider necessary for the purpose and such training shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Government.
