का. अ. 2730(ऄ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो गया है दक लोक जहत में ऐसा करना ऄपेजित है दक

दकसी तेल िेत्र ईद्योग में लगी सेवाएं, जो औद्योजगक जववाद ऄजधजनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की पहली ऄनुसूची के मद

17 के ऄधीन अती हैं, को ईक्त ऄजधजनयम के प्रयोजनों के जलए लोक ईपयोजगता सेवा घोजित दकया जाना चाजहए;

और केंरीय सरकार ने भारत सरकार के श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय की ऄजधसूचना सं. का.अ. 3549(ऄ), तारीख

12 ऄक्तूबर, 2020, द्वारा ऄंततः तारीख 12 ऄक्तूबर, 2020 से छह मास की ऄवजध के जलए ईक्त औद्योजगक स्ट्थापनों को

ईक्त ऄजधजनयम के प्रयोजनों के जलए लोक ईपयोगी सेवा घोजित दकया था;

और केन्द्रीय सरकार की यह राय है दक छह मास की और ऄवजध के जलए ईक्त ईद्योग की लोकजहत ईपयोगी सेवा

प्राजस्ट्थजत के जवस्ट्तार की ऄपेिा की जाती है;

ऄत:, ऄब, केंरीय सरकार, औद्योजगक जववाद ऄजधजनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की धारा 2 के खंड (ढ) के

ईपखंड (vi) के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त िज‍ तयों का प्रयोग करते एए, घोजित करती है दक दकसी तेल िेत्र ईद्योग में लगी सेवाएं,

ईक्त ऄजधजनयम के प्रयोजनों के जलए आस ऄजधसूचना के प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रवृत छह मास की ऄवजध के जलए लोक

ईपयोजगता सेवा होंगी ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 7th July, 2021

S.O. 2730(E).—Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that public interest requires that the

industry engaged in the services in any oilfield, which is covered under item 17 of the First Schedule to the

Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act;

And whereas the Central Government has lastly declared the said industry to be a public utility

service for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months with effect from the 12^th October, 2020,

vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, number S.O.

3549(E), dated the 12^th October, 2020;

And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that public interest requires the extension of

the public utility service status to the said industry for a further period of six months;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n)

of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declares the

industry engaged in the services in any oilfield to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act

for a period of six months with effect from the date of publication of this notification.
