का. जन. आ. 13(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, तटरक्षक अजधजनयम 1978 (1978 का 30) की धारा 123 की उपधारा

(2) के खंड (ख) द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए रक्षा मंत्रालय, तटरक्षक महाजनिेिक एवं तटरक्षक अपर

महाजनिेिक, समूह "क" पि, भती जनयम, 2017 में संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाते हैं,

इन जनयमों का संजक्षप्त नाम रक्षा मंत्रालय, तटरक्षक महाजनिेिक और तटरक्षक अपर महाजनिेिक तटरक्षक, समूह

‘क’ पि, भती (संिोधन) जनयम 2021 है।

ये रािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

रक्षा मंत्रालय, तटरक्षक महाजनिेिक एवं तटरक्षक अपर महाजनिेिक, समूह "क" पि, भती जनयम, 2017 की

अनुसूची में,-

(क) महाजनिेिक तटरक्षक (म.जन.त.र.) के पि से संबंजधत स्ट्तम्भ 12 में प्रजवजियों के स्ट्थान पर जनम्नजलजखत

प्रजवजि रखी िाएगी, अथाात:-

“जवभागीय प्रोन्नजत सजमजत (प्रोन्नजत पर जवचार करने के जलए) जनम्नजलजखत से जमलकर बनेगी:-

(i) रक्षा सजचव

- अध्यक्ष;

(ii) उप नौसेनाध् यक्ष

- सिस्ट्य;

- सिस्ट्य।”

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 8th July, 2021

S.R.O. 13(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 123

of the Coast Guard Act, 1978 (30 of 1978), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to

amend the Ministry of Defence, Coast Guard Director General and Coast Guard Additional Director

General Coast Guard, Group 'A' post, Recruitment Rules, 2017.

1.

These rules may be called as Ministry of Defence, Coast Guard Director General and Coast Guard

Additional Director General Coast Guard, Group 'A' post, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

In the Schedule to the Ministry of Defence, Coast Guard Director General and Coast Guard

Additional Director General Coast Guard, Group 'A' post, Recruitment Rules, 2017,-

(a)

for the entries in column (12) relating to the post of Director General Coast Guard

(DGCG), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“Departmental Promotion Committee (for considering promotion) consisting of:

(i)

Defence Secretary

- Chairman;

(ii)

Vice-Chief of Naval Staff

- Member;

(iii)

Special Secretary or Additional Secretary,

Ministry of Defence (In-charge of Indian Coast Guard) - Member.”

(b)

for the entries in column (12) relating to the post of Additional Director General

(ADG), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“Departmental Promotion Committee (for considering promotion) consisting of:

(i)

Ministry of Defence (In-charge of Indian Coast Guard)

- Member;

(iii)

Director General Coast Guard
