सा.का.जन. 502(अ).—औषजध जनयम, 1945 का और संिोधन करने के जलए कजतपय जनयमों के जनम्नजलजखत
प्रारूप, जिसे केंद्रीय सरकार औषजध तकनीकी सलाहकार बोडड के परामिड से औषजध और प्रसाधन सामग्री अजधजनयम,
1940 (23 के 1940) की धारा 12 की उपधारा (1) और धारा 33 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते
हुए, इसके द्वारा प्रभाजवत होने की संभावना वाले सभी व्यजियों की िानकारी के जलए प्रकाजित दकया िाता है और
एतद् द्वारा सूचना दी िाती है दक उक् त प्रारूप जनयमों पर उस तारीख से तीस ददनों की अवजध समाप् त होने पर या उसके
बाद जवचार दकया िाएगा जिस तारीख को इन प्रारूप जनयमों वाले भारत के रािपत्र की प्रजतयां िनता को उपलब्ध कराई
िाएगी।
केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा उपयुडि जवजनर्ददष्ट अवजध के भीतर दकसी भी व्यजि से प्राप्त होने वाली आपजत्तयों और सुझावों
पर जवचार दकया िाएगा।
आपजत्तयां और सुझाव, यदद कोई हों, तो अवर सजचव, (औषजध), स्ट्वास्ट््य और पररवार कल्याण मंत्रालय, भारत

प्रारूप जनयम
1. (1) इन जनयमों को औषजध (….संिोधन) जनयम, 2021 कहा िाएगा।
(2) ये जनयम रािपत्र में इनके अंजतम प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रभावी होंगे।
2. औषजध जनयम, 1945 में, जनयम 127 के उपजनयम (1) में, परन्तुक में, "परन्तु अनुसूची थ" के पश्चात, “और आईएस
4707 (भाग I) िैसा दक समय-समय पर भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया है,”, िब्द, अक्षर, कोष्ठक और
अंक को िाजमल दकया िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd July, 2021
G.S.R. 502(E).—The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Drugs Rules, 1945,
which the Central Government proposes to make, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of
section 12 and Sub-section (1) of section 33 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940), is hereby
published after consultation with the Drugs Technical Advisory Board for information of all persons likely
to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules shall be taken into consideration
on or after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on which copies of the Gazette of India
containing these draft rules are made available to public;
Objections and suggestions which may be received from any person within the period specified
above will be considered by the Central Government;
Objections and suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Under Secretary (Drugs), Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Room No. 434, C Wing, Nirman Bhavan,
New Delhi - 110011 or emailed at [email protected].
DRAFT RULES
(1)
(i) These rules may be called the Drugs (......Amendment) Rules, 2021.
(ii) These rules shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.
(2)
In the Drugs Rules, 1945, in rule 127, in sub-rule (1), in proviso, after the words and letter “under
Schedule Q”, the words, letters, bracket and figures “and IS 4707 (Part I) as amended by Bureau of
Indian Standards from time to time” shall be inserted.
