नई ददल्ली, 29 िुलाई, 2021

का.अ. 3010(ऄ).—पररसीमन ऄजधजनयम, 2002 (2002 का 33) की धारा 3 का खंड (ख) उपबंध करता है दक

मुख्य जनिााचन अयुक्त या मुख्य जनिााचन अयुक्त द्वारा नामजनर्ददष्ट कोई जनिााचन अयुक्त, पररसीमन अयोग का पदेन

सदस्ट्य होगा ;

और श्री सुिील चंद्रा, जनिााचन अयुक्त को तत्कालीन मुख्य जनिााचन अयुक्त द्वारा पररसीमन अयोग के पदेन

सदस्ट्य के रूप में नामजनर्ददष्ट दकया गया था ;

और ऄब श्री सुिील चंद्रा को 13 ऄप्रैल, 2021 से भारत के मुख्य जनिााचन अयुक्त के रूप में पदाजभजहत दकया

गया है ;

और मुख्य जनिााचन अयुक्त उक्त ऄजधजनयम की धारा 3 के खंड (ख) के ऄधीन ऄब पररसीमन अयोग का पदेन

सदस्ट्य होगा ;

ऄतः, ऄब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, भारत सरकार के जिजध और न्याय मंत्रालय (जिधायी जिभाग) की ऄजधसूचना संख्या

का.अ.1015(ऄ), तारीख 6 माचा, 2020 जिसे का.अ. सं.1023(ऄ), तारीख 3 माचा, 2021 द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया है,

में जनम्नजलजखत और संिोधन करती है, ऄथाात :-

उक्त ऄजधसूचना के पहले पैरा में क्रम सं.(ii) और उससे संबंजधत प्रजिजष्टयों के स्ट्थान पर जनम्नजलजखत क्रम सं. और

प्रजिजष्टयां रखी िाएगी :-

खंड (3), उपखंड (ii) में तारीख 6 माचा, 2020 को प्रकाजित हुई थी और ऄजधसूचना सं. का.अ.1023(ऄ),

तारीख 3 माचा, 2021 द्वारा पश्चातिती संिोधन दकया गया ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th July, 2021

S.O. 3010(E).—Whereas clause (b) of section 3 of the Delimitation Act, 2002 (33 of 2002)

provides that the Chief Election Commissioner or an Election Commissioner nominated by the Chief

Election Commissioner shall be an ex-officio Member of the Delimitation Commission;

And whereas Shri Sushil Chandra, Election Commissioner, was nominated by the then Chief

Election Commissioner to be an ex-officio Member of the Delimitation Commission;

And whereas Shri Sushil Chndra has now been designated as the Chief Election Commissioner of

India with effect from 13^th April, 2021;

And whereas the Chief Election Commissioner would now be an ex-officio Member of the

Delimitation Commission under clause (b) of section 3 of the said Act;

Now, therefore, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the

notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Law and Justice (Legislative Department)

S.O. No. 1015(E), dated the 06^th March, 2020, as amended vide S.O. No. 1023(E) dated the 3^rd March,

2021, namely :–––

In the said notification, in the first paragraph, for serial number (ii) and the entries relating thereto,

the following serial number and entries shall be substituted : –––

―(ii) Shri Sushil Chandra, Chief Election Commissioner –– Member (ex-officio)”.
