नई ददल् ली, 29 िुलाई, 2021

का.आ. 3083(अ),—केन्द्रीय सरकार, उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अजधजनयम, 2019 की धारा 74 की उप-धारा (2) द्वारा

प्रदत्त िजक्तयों को प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्द्वारा राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता जववाद प्रजततोष आयोग, नई ददल्ली में एक मध्यस्ट्थता प्रकोष्ठ

की स्ट्थापना करती है।

2. मध्यस्ट्थता प्रकोष्ठ राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता जववाद प्रजततोष आयोग से संबद्ध होगा और आयोग के अध्यक्ष इस

मध्यस्ट्थता प्रकोष्ठ के प्रधान होंगे।

3. मध्यस्ट्थता प्रकोष्ठ में मध्यस्ट्थों का एक पैनल होगा, जिसमें मध्यस्ट्थों की संख्या उतनी होगी, जितनी अध्यक्ष

द्वारा तय की िाए, जिनका चयन उस आयोग के अध्यक्ष और एक सदस्ट्य से जमलकर बनी एक चयन सजमजत की जसफाररि

पर दकया िाएगा।

4. मध्यस्ट्थता प्रकोष्ठ में ऐसे सहायक कमवचारी भी होंगे िो केंर सरकार के परामिव से राष्ट्रीय आयोग के अध्यक्ष

द्वारा तय दकए िाएं और केंरीय सरकार राष्ट्रीय आयोग को सभी आवश्यक प्रिासजनक सहायता और अवसंरचनात्मक

सुजवधाएं प्रदान करेगी।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th July, 2021

S.O. 3083(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 74 of the Consumer

Protection Act, 2019, the Central Government hereby establishes a Mediation Cell in the National

Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi.

2. The Mediation Cell shall be attached to the National Consumer Disputes Redressal

Commission and headed by the President of that Commission.

3. The Mediation Cell shall have a panel of mediators, consisting of such number of mediators, as

may be decided by the President, who shall be selected on the recommendation of a selection committee

consisting of the President and a Member of that Commission.

4. The Mediation Cell shall also have such supporting staff as may be decided by the President of

the National Commission in consultation with the Central Government and the Central Government shall

provide all administrative assistance and infrastructure facilities required by the National Commission.
