सा.का.जन. 531(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, उच् चतम न् यायालय न् यायाधीि (िेतन और सेिा ितत) अजधजनयम, 1958

(1958 का 41) की धारा 24 की उपधारा (2) के खंड (ग) और खंड (च) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए उच्चतम

न्यायालय न्यायाधीि जनयम, 1959 का और संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती है, अथात् :--

1. (1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम उच्चतम न्यायालय न्यायाधीि (दूसरा संिोधन) जनयम, 2021 है ।

(2) ये रािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होंगे ।

2. उच्चतम न्यायालय न्यायाधीि जनयम, 1959 के जनयम 3ख में,--

(क) उपजनयम (1) में, “1500 जन:िुल्क कॉल प्रजतमाह (टेलीफोन प्राजधकाररयों द्वारा प्रजतमाह दी िाने िाली

जन:िुल्क कालों के अलािा)” िब्दों के स्ट्थान पर, “4200/- रुपए प्रजतमाह+ यथालागू कर से अनजधक आिासीय

टेलीफोन काल प्रभारों या मोबाइल फोन या ब्राडबैंड या मोबाइल डाटा या डाटा काडत की प्रजतपूर्तत” िब्द रखे

िाएंगे” ;

(ख) उपजनयम (2) में, “1500 जन:िुल्क कॉल प्रजतमाह (टेलीफोन प्राजधकाररयों द्वारा प्रजतमाह दी िाने िाली

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 4th August, 2021

G.S.R. 531(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clauses (c) and (f) of

sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Supreme Court Judges (Salaries and Conditions of Service) Act, 1958

(41 of 1958), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Supreme

Court Judges Rules, 1959, namely: -

1. (1) These rules may be called the Supreme Court Judges (Second Amendment) Rules, 2021.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

In the Supreme Court Judges Rules, 1959, in rule 3B,-

(a) in sub-rule (1), for the words “the number of free calls to the extent of 1500 per month (over and

above the number of free calls per month allowed by the telephone authorities)” the words

“reimbursement of telephone call charges of residential telephone or mobile phone or broadband or

mobile data or data card not exceeding to Rs.4200/- per month + taxes as applicable” shall be

substituted;

(b) in sub-rule (2), for the words “the number of calls to the extent of 1500 per free calls to the

extent of 1,500 per month (over and above the number of free calls per month allowed by the

telephone authorities)” the words “reimbursement of telephone call charges of residential telephone

or mobile phone or broadband or mobile data or data card not exceeding to Rs.4200/- per month +

taxes as applicable” shall be substituted.
