का.आ. 5682(अ).—यतः, मै. िी.एम.आर हैिराबाि एजवएिन एसईिेड जलजमटेड (पूववती मै. िी.एम.आर

हैिराबाि इंटरनेिनल एयरपोटव जलजमटेड), िो तेलंगाना राज्य मे एक गैर सरकारी संगठन है, ने तेलंगाना राज्य के ग्राम

ममीिीपल्ली, जिला रंगा रेडी में जवमानन हेतु जविेष आर्थवक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28), (जिसे एतद्पश्चात्

उक्त अजधजनयम कहा िाएगा) की धारा 3 के तहत एक क्षेत्र जवजिष्ट जविेष आर्थवक िोन की स्ट्थापना करने का प्रस्ट्ताव

दकया है;

और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार ने जविेष आर्थवक िोन जनयमावली 2006 के जनयम 8 के साथ पठठत अजधजनयम की धारा

4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, वाजणज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय की अजधसूचना संख्याओं का.आ.

2637(अ) दिनांक 20 अक्टुबर, 2009 एवं का.आ. 883(अ) दिनांक 24 माचव, 2009 द्वारा उपरोक्त जविेष आर्थवक िोन में

क्रमिः 101.92 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अजधसूजचत तथा 8.92 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र अनजधसूजचत दकया था;

और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार ने दिनांक 3 माचव, 2010 पत्र स. एफ.1/12/2007-एसईिेड द्वारा मै. िी.एम.आर

हैिराबाि इंटरनेिनल एयरपोटव जलजमटेड से िी.एम.आर हैिराबाि एजवएिन एसईिेड जलजमटेड को औपचाठरक अनुमोिन

के अंतरण हेतु अनुमोिन संप्रेजषत दकया था;

और यतः केन्द्र सरकार ने दिनांक 8 अगस्ट्त, 2011 के पत्र स. एफ.1/12/2007-एसईिेड द्वारा एसईिेड के क्षेत्र

को “जवमानन” से पठरवर्तवत कर “मौिूिा हवाई पत्तन में जस्ट्थत एसईिेड” करने हेतु अपना अनुमोिन संप्रेजषत दकया था;

और यतः, मै. िी.एम.आर हैिराबाि एजवएिन एसईिेड जलजमटेड ने अब उक्त जविेष आर्थवक िोन में से 8.90

हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करने का प्रस्ट्ताव दकया है। इसके अलावा, डेवलपर के अनुसार, अनजधसूजचत क्षेत्र का

उपयोग औद्योजगक उद्देश्य के जलए दकया िाएगा और मै. श्नाइडर इलेजक्रक इंजडया प्रा. जलजमटेड मुख्य रूप से वैक्यूम

जस्ट्वचचंग उपकरण से संबंजधत जवद्युत उपकरणों और घटकों के जनमावण और असेंबली इकाई के जलए प्रस्ट्ताजवत अनजधसूजचत

क्षेत्र का उपयोग करने का इरािा रखता है;

और तेलंगाना राज्य सरकार ने उनके पत्र संख्या 2719/आईपी&इंफ़/ए2/2022 के तहत प्रस्ट्ताव को अनापजत्त

प्रमाणपत्र िे दिया है;

और यतः जवकास आयुक्त, जविाखापत्तनम जविेष आर्थवक िोन ने जविेष आर्थवक िोन के 8.90 हैक्टेयर के क्षेत्र

को अनजधसूजचत करने के प्रस्ट्ताव की संस्ट्तुजत की है;

और यतः केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है दक उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (8) के अंतगवत अपेक्षाओं

तथा अन्द्य सम्बंजधत अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया है;

अतः अब, जविेष आर्थवक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग

करते हुए और जविेष आर्थवक िोन अजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 के अनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा उक्त जविेष आर्थवक

िोन में से 8.90 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करती है, जिसके पठरमाणतः कुल क्षेत्र 84.10 हेक्टेयर हो िाएगा।

अनजधसूजचत क्षेत्र के जलए जनम्नजलजखत ताजलका में उल्लेजखत सवेक्षण संख्याएं और क्षेत्र िाजमल है, अथावत्:-

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 5th December, 2022

S.O. 5682(E).—WHEREAS, M/s. GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Limited (Formerly M/s. GMR

Hyderabad International Airport Limited) a private organisation in the State of Telangana, had proposed

under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said

Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Aviation at Village Mamidipally, District Ranga

Reddy in the State of Telangana;

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)

of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006, had notified an area

of 101.92 hectares and de-notified an area of 8.92 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry

of Commerce and Industry Notification numbers S.O. 2637(E) dated 20^th October, 2009 and S.O. 883(E)

dated 24^th March, 2014, respectively;

AND WHEREAS, the Central Government, vide letter No. F.1/12/2007-SEZ dated 3^rd March, 2010

conveyed the approval for transfer of formal approval from M/s. GMR Hyderabad International Airport

Limited to M/s. GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Limited;

AND WHEREAS, the Central Government, vide letter No. F.1/12/2007-SEZ dated 8^th August,

2011, conveyed the approval for change of Sector of the SEZ from ‘Aviation’ to ‘SEZ in an existing

Airport’;

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Limited, has now proposed for de-

notification of 8.90 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone. Further, as per the Developer, the

proposed de-notification area will be used for industrial purpose and M/s. Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.

intends to use the proposed de-notification area for manufacturing & Assembly unit of electrical devises

and components mainly related to vacuum switching equipment;

AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Telangana has given its “No Objection” to the

proposal vide letter No. 2719/IP&INF/A2/2022 dated 13.09.2022;

AND WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has

recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 8.90 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8)

of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of

section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic

Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 8.90 hectares, thereby making

resultant area as 84.10 hectares. The survey numbers and the areas for de-notification are given below in

the table, namely: -
