का.आ. 6003(अ).—यत:, मै. सीमेंस हेल्थकेयर प्राइवेट जलजमटेड, ने कनााटक राज्य में बैंगलोर जिले के

बोम्मासांद्रा गांव अनेकल तालुक में आई.टी./आई.टी.ई.एस. की स्ट्थापना हेतु जविेष आर्थाक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005

(2005 का 28), (जिसे एतद्पश्चात् उक्त अजधजनयम कहा गया है) की धारा 3 के अंतगात प्रस्ट्ताव दकया है;

और यतः, केन्द्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है दक उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उप.धारा (8) के अतंगात

अपेक्षाओं तथा अन्द्य सबंजधत अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया है और उनको उपयुाक्त जविेष आर्थाक िोन के जवकास,

प्रचालन एवं रखरखाव हेतू उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उपधारा (10) के अतंगात दिनांक 24 नवम्बर, 2022 को

अनुमोिन पत्र प्रिान कर दिया है;

अतः अब, जविेष आर्थाक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप.धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग

करते हुए और जविेष आर्थाक िोन अजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 के अनुसरण में केन्द्द्र सरकार, एतद्द्वारा उक्त स्ट्थान के

3.0315 हेक्टेयर के नीचे िी गई ताजलका में दिए गए सवेक्षण संख्याओं के क्षेत्रों को अजधसूजचत करती है, अथाात्ः-

िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्द्र सरकार, एतद्द्वारा उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 14 के प्रयोिनाथा उपयुाक्त जविेष आर्थाक

िोन के जलए एक सजमजत, जिसे अनुमोिन सजमजत कहा िाएगा, गठित करती है, जिसके अध्यक्ष और सिस्ट्य जनम्नानुसार

है, अथाात्-

जविेष आर्थाक िोन का जवकास आयुक्त

अध्यक्ष, पिेन

जनिेिक अथवा उप-सजचव, भारत सरकार, वाजणज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय, वाजणज्य जवभाग या

उसका नाजमती जिसका स्ट्तर अवर सजचव, भारत सरकार से कम नहीं होगा

सिस्ट्य, पिेन

जविेष आर्थाक िोन पर भू-भागीय क्षेत्राजधकार रखने वाले क्षेत्रीय संयुक्त जविेि व्यापार

महाजनिेिक

सिस्ट्य, पिेन

िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा दिनांक 21 दिसम्बर, 2022 को उस तारीख के रूप में जनधााठरत

करती है जिस तारीख से उपयुाक्त जविेष आर्थाक िोन को सीमा-िुल्क अजधजनयम 1962 (1962 का 52) की धारा 7 के

अंतगात अंतिेिीय कंटेनर जडपो माना िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 21st December, 2022

S.O. 6003(E).—Whereas, M/s. Siemens Healthcare Private Limited, has proposed under section 3

of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up an

IT/ITES at Bommasandra Village Anekal Taluk, Bangalore District, in the State of Karnataka;

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of

section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval

under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the

above Special Economic Zone on 24^th November, 2022;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section

(1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special

Economic Zones Rules, 2006, hereby notifies the 3.0315 hectares area comprising the Survey numbers and

the area given below in the table, namely: -

AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)

of section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby constitutes a Committee to be

called the Approval Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of section 14 of the

said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members, namely:-

Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone

Chairperson ex officio;

Director or Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of

Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce or his nominee not

below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India

Member ex officio;

Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade having territorial

jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone

Member ex officio;

Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial

jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below

the rank of Joint Commissioner

Member ex officio;

Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the

Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint

Commissioner

Member ex officio;

Director (Banking) in the Ministry of Finance, Banking Division,

Government of India

Member ex officio;

Two officers, not below the rank of Joint Secretary, to be nominated by

the State Government

Member ex officio;

Representative of the Developer of the zone

Special invitee

AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section

(2) of section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby appoints the

21^st December, 2022 as the date from which the above Special Economic Zone shall be deemed to be

Inland Container Depot under section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962).
